Never played Oblivion but yea I enjoyed MGS3.Dunno man, I've enjoyed both MGS3 and Oblivion remasters, don't mind them touching up more older games.
Oh they'll touch it up alright...Dunno man, I've enjoyed both MGS3 and Oblivion remasters, don't mind them touching up more older games.
I'll give it a fair chance.
Oblivion was stuttery af but lets be real, running like shit is bethesda's bread and butter
That's too hardDidn't they already remake Halo. We need to have a new good Halo.
Wish they were remaking a good game instead.
Halo CEA was a remasterDidn't they already remake Halo. We need to have a new good Halo.
Bluepoint's games are optimized like a dream, however.Virtuous is the new Bluepoint
If MCC comes to PS5 think at least 1 million PS5 players will show on the first month. Some out of curiosity, some due to nostalgia, and some because they switched after the 360.I guess the hope is there are enough PlayStation fans who've never played Halo, who will be curious/excited enough to buy this for PS5? That seems like a bad bet for a game that old.
Tag checks out.Wish they were remaking a good game instead.
Combat devolvedStutter evolved
No. Bluepoint makes quality remasters.Virtuous is the new Bluepoint
Those gamers aren't playing these games nor are they focused on just these games. They're not solely sticking to AAA and big I.P. and they aren't waiting on those old guard companies to hand them scraps of content. They have moved on.I still wonder what it will take to truly break the toxic positivity gamers. You know, the ones in total denial at how bad the state of the industry is in 2025. The ones who say "it's never been a better time to be a gamer" despite actually good games being so few and far between that entire years to by without so much as single 10/10 game, the likes of which we used to get multiples of PER YEAR from 1995 to 2005.
Xbox as a whole has had a direction and management issue for years. Someone else can answer the rest of this, I'm sure they will give the usual cultural talking points that will be a satisfactory answer. What the fuck even happened? Is it graphics progress putting too much of a strain on dev times? Is it outsourcing to India and other 3rd world countries? Is it extreme political activism being shoved into games in unfun ways? Probably all the above and then some.
The younger kids aren't paying attention to this and they don't care. The only reason they even hear about some of it is because our generation (their parents and uncles/aunts) is using most of our energy to complain about it.All I know is, I'm 38 years old and there's never been a worse time to be a gamer. I truly feel for the younger kids growing up in this era with absolutely nothing to be excited about.
So this will be the PS5 version and not the MCC.
Feels bad man.
yes, the anniversary remaster ran pretty poorly with its stutter issues and it was using the pc version as a basis which had issues with its ui compared to the original xbox (plus missing effects in classic graphics mode)
I like your optimism.Maybe. It could be both.
Next month, Halo Studios are revealing the Halo projects they have in the pipeline.

It could be this remake, as well as the MCC collection for PS5 and Switch. Maybe a surprise as well like Halo Wars 3.
I like your optimism.
I just don't have much faith in this industry at the moment.
