Holy shit. That seems to be it.
Steele memo mentions that Russian State Oil Company CEO Sechin offered Trump/Page associates 19 percent stake in Rosneft if personal and state sanctions were lifted.
Now Russia sold 19.5 stake in Rosneft to Quatar fund Glencore.
Carte Parge is tied to Glencore fund.
Mysterious death of a FSB/Rosneft guy in mid December.
And Trump still going on about lifting sanctions as soon as Russia is nice and helps with the fight against terrorists.

That is it ladies & gentlemen, forget the pee, the prostitutes and everything else. all peanuts compared to this.
Can we get some sources on this, particularly the nature of Trump and Page's connection to Glencore.

We're all descending into flames and he's not even President yet.

Not sure what they realistically expected though.

Don't see any way he's not impeached one way or another.

This is why I don't like it when people come into Trump threads with this defeatism about how his supporters "won't care anyways" as if his core base of supporters who defend and deflect everything are the only ones whose word matters. It's not normal for a PEOTUS to have their approval rating drop during the transition period.

Moreover if you remember pussy gate, you'll notice how differently he acted there. Rather than defending his position like his dear life depended on it, he conceded and tried to move asap. He did the same thing with Obama's birth certificate. He could do pretty the same thing now, but for some reason it's not happening.

With the rape allegations, he called people liars and doubled down just like he's doing now. He only apologized for Pussygate because there was video evidence. And he definitely did not back down from Obama's birth certificate right away. He never even admitted to being wrong there, people like Pence were the ones to do that (or at least say that his opinion changed).

I think the fact that he's behaving consistently compared to times when it was very likely he was guilty of what he was being accused of means that he is probably a stooge for Putin in some way. I'm just not discounting the idea that he's as stupid as he seems to be.

If this and his current behavior continues I can see his moderate supporters turning against him. It's really only his fanatics that won't care.

He did. He held a press conference that was basically an ad for his hotel and campaign, and then at the end of it said Obama was born in the US.

Yeah, but he never actually admitted to being wrong in the first place, did he? I thought the Pussygate apology was the only time he's ever publically admitted to any wrongdoing during the whole election.

I don't know why anyone is still afraid of a Trump lawsuit. He ain't suing because he doesn't want to open himself up to discovery. He's got a muzzle on inflammatory lawsuits at this point.

I do wonder, in a hypothetical where Trump tries to work with Putin and Assad how he'd explain that to congress who, as far as I can tell from the confirmation hearings, are all in lock step with Russia/Assad being war criminals in Syria. I'd honestly love to see him try. That's not a hill I expect Republicans at large will die on.

MSM are reluctant of reporting dirt on Trump because of lawsuits. They need to grow a ballsack before only Fox News and Breitbart will be allowed to cover Trump and their stupid propaganda will be all that is out there.

If this is the case, what a clusterfuck. Their entire business is at stake anyway and they're holding back in fear of lawsuits?

Somehow I feel Christians are about to get their "rapture" from their orange Messiah they willingly elected. Don't they know Trump has all the Antichrist traits they swore Obama possessed?

It should be so obvious to them considering they're committing the cardinal sin of worshiping a false prophet.

How many high profile retractions/corrections about Russian meddling stories do we need to see before Poligaf shows a smidgeon of skepticism? There was just another one in Fortune last night.

What does that have to do with this thread? You didn't even supply a link?

LOL, what are you really doing here?

Not just lawsuits. Heads of MSM are friends with Trump. CNN CEO Jerry Zucker keeps a framed tweet of Trump in his office for example.
NYT majority shareholder met with Trump as well.

Never forget they are a business first and foremost and are positioning themselves to be relevant in the new regime.

I've read some who think God is acting through an immoral person like Trump to bring about their rapture, ie. repeal of Roe vs. Wade etc.

Ends justify the means basically.

That's not terrifying at all.

This is one of the dangers of Trump. He's a master panderer. He will go above and beyond the call of duty to pander to his dupes and marks. He clearly identified insane American evangelicals as a critical part of the modern Republican base. So the American Taliban becomes Trump's brand.

Trump is white. That makes it all better.

Jesus is white too, so of course Trump isn't the antichrist.

The memo was dated October 18th, and on November 7th Russia signed the deal to sell 19.5% of its stake in Rosneft. Top executive of Rosneft Oleg Erovinkin was found dead in late december, with no official cause of death. Starting in September, it was reported that Carter Page would be 'advising Trump on energy policy and Russia', and has been probed by the US regarding ties to Russian leaders. Page also has ties with executives at Gazprom through his assistance in advising 'some of its biggest deals in the past decade'. Gazprom is the investment bank that funded the 19.5% purchase of the Rosneft stake by Glencore.

The GOP has been pandering to the evangelicals for quite some time. Trump brought Neo-Nazis into the fold.

It should be so obvious to them considering they're committing the cardinal sin of worshiping a false prophet.

They honestly don't give a shit about the theology of their Biblical doctrines.

They've willingly voted for Trump out of fear and based this on their new crusade against Islamic radicals and against women.

Fire and brimstone scriptures used to manipulate the base fears of their believers while turning a blind eye to the actual Gospel truth.

All fucking Pharisees.

Trump's all cap tweets means he's melting down. What I'd give to be a fly on the wall in his presence.

Exactly. Even if all the intelligence on this is off the mark and Trump and his associates are truly innocent of having any Russian ties or influence, his tweets on the matter are certainly making it look like he's desperately trying to scream away these accusations like he's frightened and cornered. His tweets are not aiding his argument that this is a total fabrication in any way.

If Donald Trump were truly innocent and felt confident he would be vindicated, he should just be quiet and give measured responses to the accusations if any.

If everything is true and Putin and his cronies really groomed Trump for this role, that's the critical miscalculation they made: Trump has no capability to keep cool when confronted, and that can ruin everything.

Exactly. This is exactly the kind of people that Jesus warned about.

This is an amazing post. Hope you've sent this along to some media outlets.

I don't know, some of these posts are displaying the borderline mania and six-degrees-of-separation games you see on conspiracy sites.

Can someone explain to me what the death of Oleg Erovinkin and others mean in this?

Is it simply to silence them because they are witnesses/actors of the deal?

Very possibly. Sounds conspiracy theory as shit, but that's also kind of what Russia does.

Not only that, but the head of Qatar's sovereign wealth fund said it would invest $10 billion in infrastructure projects inside the United States in response to Donald Trump. Qatar was part of the sale of the 19.5% of Rosnef.

Plus, Guilliani's law firm advised both Glencore and Qatar. And not to mention Trump's SOS pick had a very good relationship with Sechin/Rosneft.

In my mind, yes? Loose ends on the lower end of the pole so they gotta go.

However, in honesty, the very coincidental correlation between the memo's 19% share sale and the actual sale of 19.5% is the biggie here. Considering, it happened a month out from the memo. Everything else is almost secondary but aids in pointing us further in the direction of "Yo Trump and his team are in some deep shit."
