I'm fine with that answer, he basically pandered to the denier masses while still saying that (since we don't apparently know) we actually have to take precautions and do our best with renewables etc.

So basically it was "lol dunno guise but let's actually do something about it just in case"

Which is fine enough.

Not that anything is wrong with Germany, but the republican talking point (facebook posts) is that it is overrun with Syrian refugees destroying the country.

Agreed..for a Republican to even admit humans are playing a role in climate change is stepping out on a limb.

The moderation tonight is weird...

They always start with a pretty good question that hits a specific criticism of the candidate (with plenty of time to respond as well), but their follow-ups are always so baldly confrontational.

It's like half-good moderation (which looks amazing compared to some of the other debates).

Kasich accepted the Medicaid expansion, which inherently puts him ahead of most other Republicans. I get the sense he at least cares about the poor and would try for them, whatever his other horrible policies.
