Pretty obvious RE8 was set in a village to use the same assets for RE4 remake. Save development cost and time.

Nah, this looks a lot more like RE Engine than something cooked up in UE4.

I doubt its going to be changed gameplay wise as much as RE2 and RE3 remakes were. Those were remaking 2D, fixed camera, tank controlled PS1 games. RE4 is already a nice looking third person shooter with fairly modern gameplay.
I'm pretty sure the RE4 remake will be mostly graphical.
