It looks more open world?
It looks more open world?
Open world in a sense the level design isn't made of interconnected rooms and corridors but actual large areas. The leak mentions a forest; but will it be an actual large forest area or a group of forest-themed corridors/rooms?Based on how RE is, its always been pretty open.
Having those door animations in the first titles didn't take away from its format being very open and back tracking etc. So with the new RE titles, you simply have those types of worlds, simply without the door animation, so I wouldn't be surprised if its more open, like some rural America type setting as they are saying a small town.
I'm sure areas will be locked away and you need to unlock something to get to a new area or get a item to allow you to go to area or something.

This.I hope it is first person and supports VR.
I've gotten to where I enjoy 1st person in these newer games, but I agree—no reason both shouldn't be offered. This sounds fantastic! I hope it has 1st and 3rd person view choices.![]()
Always wanted a game that sound like the thingI smell bullshit! The mimic thing is just stupid in a action game like Resident Evil, I can't see how that would be done.
How so? Hills doesn't have any mimic.'Hills Have Eyes' angle?
I'm down. Throw in an Emilie de Ravin looking hottie too from the remake.

Oh yeah, ethan "charisma black hole" winters.Yeah, it's the Ethan Winters trilogy.
Try it in VR. It's not as scary and much more feasible and manageable.Sounds good
Still too scared to finish RE7
Sounds like wishful thinking.Sound like a third person game
I think what people mean by open world these days are tropical beaches and horse/contraption/vehicle riding through endless vegetation. Which hopefully we'll never see on a main RE game.Based on how RE is, its always been pretty open.

Is that game worth a look? It's part of the + Premium subscription. The Wendigo in Kona was one of the creepiest designs there is. Hoping to see even worse in a RE.
Yeah it got good to average reviews. It's French Canadian culture in a bottle so if you understand French I would play in that language as the English version is not the original. Is that game worth a look? It's part of the + Premium subscription.
When I first read it, it seemed they're going with an after a nuclear fallout scenario that caused their own take on mutations. How so? Hills doesn't have any mimic.
Third person fixed camera? Look, I like OG Resident Evil as much as the next guy, but fixed camera angles were a choice born from necessity. And while they might have looked neat and helped build atmosphere, the transitions were always jarring and clunky. They are a relic of the past and should stay there. Please be third person and fixed camera, Please be third person and fixed camera,Please be third person and fixed camera, Please be third person and fixed camera,
