The lighting at the small walking segment looked great, also the bit where the guy gets strangled. It kinda went off the rails afterwards with bizarre facial animations and kinda whack acting.

Also, overall it was kinda lame?

To me in horror games or even horror movies the less I see the better. Honestly this my last trailer, I dont need to see any more from this game since I'm already sold.

Looked fine to me. Nothing especially "hype" inducing though.

Alyssa's facial animation looks like it needs a little touching up.

I totally get that, especially with how trailers are these days. I just wanted to see more of what we'll be doing in the game rather than watching. I know we'll see more later. Like I said, no biggy, I'll likely still be getting regardless, lol.
 
They actually showed some in-game footage. Unlike, ahem... pretty much everyone else?

It's kinda funny we're seeing the same "hurr-durr, this isn't Resident Evil. They're turning the game into Outlast" crap we had to endure with the amazing RE7.

Basic tension to try and make it a horror game. You know midgame she'll be packing blammers and have her own weapon wheel. Might as well pretend to be P.T.

RE8 did the same and I'm not even shitting on the game.

Alyssa being shown is interesting, that's the best I can say. Still looking forward to it.

Nah I watched the trailer and we see young Grace acting like a brat not knowing what's going on and things go south pretty quickly. They act like a girl typically would at that age.

It's a strong start IMO. Gonna get some nice PTSD in this one. And given the demo footage we have it's going to be easy to put the pieces together. Exciting.

GrayChild GrayChild The commentary that RE9 looks bad reminds me of all the hate Alien Isolation was getting....and Isolation is a cult classic now so whatever.

The facial expressions don't bug me because chances are they'll get polished up in the next 6 months.

That said, this was a bad choice for a trailer. They should have just waited til TGA 2025 and show us something with a lot more substance.

That is dumb as hell. If one wants to create a cinematic scene then the camera cannot be fixed to a lapel. If one want to create fear in a player then something needs to move in the distance or environment has to change.

Sigh, mostly cutscenes.
Does anyone truly care about the plot in these? Capcom has some of the absolute worst writers in the AAA industry.
I like some of their games, but the last thing I want from them is more cutscenes.

Very underwhelming trailer. I'm sure it's gonna be good but this ain't it. They hyped this up as the second coming and they gave us nothing remotely close to it.

Cloud sleeping on his "good side" because he wouldn't take his pauldron off in Rebirth. Meanwhile, Tifa and Aerith actually sleep barefoot. I was so amazed that a character changed clothes or had a blanket on (Not Cloud! Not Noctis!) that I took a screenshot.

I am sure the game will be good, but the trailer was boring. I was expecting some more gameplay since the game is not far off. They did say there is a demo on the floor, so maybe we will see more from that.
 
What absolute dog shit. I can't wait to sit through hours of melodramatic shivering and whining and hysterical Hide & Seek gameplay from this character.

That objective was unintentionally hilarious though.
 
Awful trailer. 3 mins of flashback for a trailer.

Wish they'd do something with outbreak and all. I was a peasent and didn't have PS2 online, so didn't bother playing it and by all accounts, it was only good online and the only good RE online games they've made.
