Reuters: Toxic waste from illegal U.S. pot farms alarms experts

Because they likely have to buy the stuff underground so as not to be flagged when buying large amounts of fertilizer legally... and I am assuming most stuff sold underground is the illegal stuff.

This is not soil grown cannabis, it's hydroponic. They wouldn't use those kinds of fertilisers. Even legal hydroponics ferts and nutrients are dosed on chemicals. These chemicals are not controlled in the same way and are easy to get ahold of.

It's consistently the worst weed you could ever get, no care put into it, toxic pesticides overflowing on them, using concentrates as a way to hide how shit their product is.

Why would increasing limits would help? Illegal dumping continues to be a problem in tons of legal industries. It's also not like consumers of this are discerning, considering they had no problems funding the murder of thousands for their highs. We just have to expect this will happen and deal with those that engage in it like any other dumping.
