Rip. True hero.

Not sure I'd have the balls or reflexes to even do something like that even tho I'd like to think I would..

He saved over a hundred lives by sacrificing his, against our enemy ISIS. That is a true display of one's love for humanity, he's a hero.

Pretty cowardly of Kenshin to trying to defaming him and alter this thread.

That's my exact thought. I'd like to think i would have this kind of courage in this scenario but i honestly doubt it. RIP, Adel and my best wishes and thoughts to your daughter and family.

Is it possible that he thought he could prevent the bomber from detonating by disarming him or something?

(I am by no means trying to downplay what he did. This man is a hero.)

I can't even imagine the thoughts in his head as he considered all of the variables, but ultimately, he acted to the most inner true nature of human beings: altruism. Most people do not live even a moment in their lives knowing such a state.

Words are clumsy, and they will not do for the bravery, the selflessness, the compassion he had for others, the wrongs he stood against, and the malice attempted against others that he sacrificed his life for, in that single moment.

He just wanted to stop the second murder-bomber from detonating in a crowd who had gathered after the first douche-lord had blown up is how i read it. He intercepted the guy on the fringes and stopped him getting into the throng of the crowd.

Brave as hell and selfless. Guy is a hero no doubts at all.

Even with the footnotes in this thread regarding him being part of Hezbollah, I'd still say RIP and that he did a great and selfless thing to save his daughter and hundreds of others. Damn.

A real hero. RIP.

I don't even know what to say. As if saying anything behind a computer makes any difference at all. I hope his daughter and loved ones can cope and I've never read such a heroic action in my life.

Terrible. Life is so valuable. It is painful to see something like this happen. The man deserves a monument.
