Not fucking cool! Being a Steelers fan, I always hated Mcnair on the field but had a hell of a lot of respect for him! There's not justification for taking another human beings life, no matter what mistakes they make.
 
Man, it'll hurt even worse for his wife if the dead woman was his mistress or something. All their biz in the media :\
 
ESPNews is airing another press conference right now

They said that McNair was shot multiple times and the woman was shot once in the head. No suspects have been found.
 
What is known so far :

- McNair and the woman were friends

- McNair's body was found on a sofa, the woman was found on the floor

- The gun was found near the woman's body

- McNair was shot multiple times including once in the head. The woman was shot once in the head

- The woman was charged with DUI on Thursday. McNair was a passenger in the car at the time

- The car was a 2007 Cadillac Escalade registered to McNair and the woman

- The door was locked when the bodies were found

- An autopsy will be performed tomorrow


Sounds like a murder/suicide to me :(

I'm back from fireworks and still can't believe this news. WTF was the motive? Who was the woman with him? Why the hell did they kill him? Multiple shots sounds like something personal. :( PEACE.

It probably was not a burglary. Based on what I've read from nashvillepost.com they think its either a murder-suicide or made to look like a murder-suicide.

You do realize that he was likely cheating on his wife, the mother of his 4 children, right?

Quite likely he would still be alive if he wasn't doing something he wasn't supposed to be doing. That is, we need to see what comes out of this investigation before we jump to any conclusions.
 
I think its more likely that Steve and his wife were in the process of a divorce. Just because it seems like a lot of people knew what was going on with him and the girl, it didnt seem like a huge secret. Clearly Steve hadnt been living with his wife for some time

After the TMZ pictures, I'm going to jump right into the conclusion that he was cheating on his wife. Although, I do wonder how in the world does he allow himself to be photographed posing together with her.
 
I don't mean to badmouth McNair, but I've been hearing stories for years that he was a bit of a skirt chaser and that his wife was aware of it. It's a shame all his dirty laundry will get aired out now in front of the kids.

Most people are probably just saying that because...well...there really hasn't been a year where people in the public eye died so close together.
 
Although I don't like cheating, it's certainly doesn't make murder justifiable or his death any less tragic.
