OK now I'm getting a little wet-eyed.

I still can't believe this happened. Everyone is in family is just devastated by the news. I don't think I've seen a celebrity death hit people like this before. He was just a legend.

Never seen Good Will Hunting but always meant to get around to it. I think I'll be fixing that soon.

Please do. It is his finest performance in my opinion.

holy shit, i can't even deal with this

Good Will Hunting has had such an influence on me, i can't begin to describe how much i've grown to admire him

all of the best to his family and friends, i feel bad for even putting my sentiments next to those close to him but i sincerely hope they can have all the strength they need

rest in peace good man

Fuck this world. This is the first time I'm feelong bad for a celebrity death. What else can I say? All my love goes to his family, ha man like Williams is immortal.

I saw the title and thought it was another fake until I clicked. I've never had an actors death stop me in my tracks like this before.

R.I.P. Robbin Williams. My hearts go out to his friends and family.

I'm just in shock.

I had no idea he had any problems, now I find out he's been to rehab, had depression, drugs and alcohol issues.

He was such a big part of my childhood, god damn it. Can't believe how upset I'm getting.

I grew up with Mork and Mindy. Even ran into Robin once or twice on his bike rides in the city, or when he stopped in the gaming shop to peruse the miniatures.

I can't even process this.

I hope he finally found the peace he needed.

No idea how long he has been suffering, but depression can ruin your life. I'm going to assume he was being treated for it, so it must have been a really severe case. I don't think anyone can judge him for doing this, it's his life and it was his choice.

Doesn't make it any less sad though :(

Shows you just how unprejudiced depression is. It doesn't give a shit if you're rich or poor, loved or unloved. Robin Williams was probably the last guy I'd expect to have it. Heartbreaking.

Such a shame. Depression + addiction is such a devastating combination.

My heart goes out to his family, friends, and all of us fans who grew up with him and his amazing performances.

RIP, Robin.

Random aside, back when I worked at Barnes and Noble, he came in and was kind of walking around, looking at books. He was really nice and quiet, but looked really sad.

He's something else, isn't he? Every movie Robin was in felt special, different. And I'm sure his family and friends had lots of great moments with him. This is a hard moment for his family, and I leave here my warmest condolences.

Movies and memories are a fantastic thing. Through them, he'll be able to be a part of this world for a long, long time. And his children will always be able to show their children just how much of a beautiful impact their grandfather had on an entire generation.

Robin Williams will be remembered :')

Fuck man. This is hitting me hard like Gandolfini's death. I grew up watching this dude. Flubber, Aladdin, Jumanji, Death To Smoochy, Patch Adams, Jake, Hook, Toys, Insomnia, Good Will Hunting, Mrs. Doubtful etc. It's seriously blowing my mind right now how much i followed his career and never realized it till now.

It's incredibly sad to hear he's been dealing with depression. When all he's done was make people laugh his whole life.

RIP Robin :'(
