Holy shit....I can't even find words. His death has put me in a state of shock and I do not want to believe it.

RIP Mr. Williams. We will never forget you and I hope you have found peace.

Damn, this is sad. Rest in piece. :(

I wil always remember him as Genie from Aladdin. Thank you, Robin Williams.

Aw shit...this pic. RIP.

I was just watching The Adventures of Baron Munchausen two days ago and I almost forgot how much of a great actor he was. One of my personal favorites. I think as a tribute I'll watch one Robin Williams movie a day for a week. Hope he can rest in peace.

This just came to mind.

"Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed, life is harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in threatening world. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town. Go see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears."But doctor" He says, "I am Pagliacci.""

RIP.

Can't really add anything to this post.

Goodbye to a great man.

We are at the point of our lives when the stars of our childhoods start getting very old and dying.

RIP, one of my favorite actors.

Having had some close family members pass recently this comment really hit home for me.
Remember your hero's and cherish them.
Hold your family close and enjoy every moment as if it were the last.
RIP Robin Williams.

This sucks. This really, really sucks.

My childhood was defined by this man. To think that this would happen despite the smile that I remembered is just really frustrating and sad.

RIP Robin Williams, and my condolences to his friends and family.

This is fucking bullshit. I walk out of the shower only to be greeted by this. And it was a suicide? What a fucking bummer. Shit like this isn't fair, man. The man has been around for as long as I can remember, he might as well have always been there in some of my favorite movies as a kid, even Flubber. I'd watch anything with the guy in it because no matter what he never ceased to entertain me. When I got older I found Good Will Hunting, Awakenings, and of course, Dead Poet's Society. Ended up appreciating Mrs.Doubtfire even more.

Just as I was thinking this was a pretty good Monday, then this. Rest in peace, Robin Williams, you've entertained an entire generation who took you for granted, especially me.

I just saw this on Facebook, and couldn't believe it. Robin Williams was my childhood, one of my comedic icons. I loved his stand-up (I've watched his live on Broadway stand-up like a dozen times at least) and so many of his movies.

Ugh, this is probably the celebrity death that's hit me the absolute hardest. I can't believe it. RIP.

You sound like someone I know, she posted this very same comment online just a few moments back. Are you one and the same?

Oh shit, I just heard of this.

RIP Robin Williams ;-;

Really enjoyed his work as Genie, Mrs. Doubtfire, and the professor in Carpe Diem.

Just watched this and couldn't help laughing my ass off despite being incredibly sad over it. He was such a charismatic man. There's no way you can't smile watching him do his thing. God damn legend, he was.

"My next guest is an American treasure.."

That's great. I keep a collection of my favorite YouTube clips and one of them is a (different) Robin Williams interview on The Late Late Show. Robin and Craig made each other crack up so much that the video always makes me smile.

I hope Craig opens his show tonight with a commentary on the news. I don't know why but his commentaries on sad events like this always bring me some amount of comfort.
