I received an email from Best Buy (Canada) that my Xbox BIAB wouldn't be received by their warehouse until October 9th. Not really a big deal for me since I'll be leaving that day for NYC, and it typically takes 5-7 business days for Best Buy to ship to my province. Just hope its waiting for me when I get back!

Of course that doesn't involve the adapter in any way, but there definitely is some type of issue with stock in Canada at least.

I really wish I had read this before buying the game from the PS store; I have the exact same problem. The GHWT drum dongle works just fine and the guitar is recognized as a drum controller, but the guitar dongle doesn't light up at all. It works fine in PS3. I've tried restarting the console a couple of times with no luck.

PSA: GH World Tour guitar might not work for you on PS4.

Experience this morning (no pre-order, because I was undecided on how I wanted to handle the transition) seemed to echo others: Target is only stocking the bundles (and only got in PS4), Best Buy only had pre-orders (but I don't think they had the game only), and Toys R Us had everything...except for the XBox One game only, which I was looking for.

GameStop had the same, but specifically blamed the Hurricane and shipping delays for the stock issues on the game. They suggested the October 9th date others are hearing.

I imagine the legacy adapter is part of the problem here. Will be curious to see what the next few days brings.

Just checked my Collect+ tracking for my guitar bundle and my local depot has it but not the actual store, looks like I'll be waiting till tomorrow to get it.

I'm guessing they needed it to be released to make some money to keep development going? I dunno. I pray it gets updated alot to make it like RB 2 and 3. I have faith in HMX!

Ugh, Amazon just updated me from "Shipping Tuesday" to "Arriving Thursday"

What the point of preordering on Amazon again? I thought they mailed stuff out early to avoid this situation.

No, only the Xbox One game comes with the adapter.

It honestly just seems like they haven't been able to make enough of the adapters. Which comes across very strange to me, because I think that would be the most sought after version. Even though I did pre-order, I still have no idea when I'll get mine as of now. It's frustrating, but I'm also a man of principles (I don't want more plastic instruments in my house and I hate Rock Band guitars).

So, I didn't see that MadCatz is claiming there are no delays for the legacy adapter. If you pre-ordered, you should have one, if you didn't, you're fucked. Though, the reality from this thread seems to be that even if you did, you're still fucked.

So are they ever going to sell new instruments independent of the bundles? I decided to grab the Guitar/Game combo because I didn't want to swing $250 just yet, but I'd like to not get gouged like crazy having to track down old instruments just to get a drum set.

According to Amazon, i'm suppose to get my Legacy Adapter tomorrow. They sent it by Parcel Select though, through a shipping partner >_>

Whatever made this happen, this is a pretty big botch of a launch. I'm still hyped as hell though.

Just thought about it. At my store (unless there were people there at opening) they only had 1 XB1 BIAB and that was pre ordered.

XB1 probably really had severe stock problems

Got my preorder just fine-Guitar+Game for X1. The problem I'm running into now is that half of the legacy DLC I installed ahead of time isn't showing up in my list of songs, and is still marked $1.99 in the store (but not when I search manually for it through the Xbox One store).

Yaaaaay -_- This is turning into a big enough hassle that I'm beginning to wish I'd just saved my money and picked up the game when the new year hit.

So, any UK PS4 players had any luck with DLC yet? The blog has finally updated and says various tracks from 79p, and Super Meat Boy has turned up in what seems to be the past ten minutes, but nothing for RB DLC yet and my 30 song code still doesn't seem to work. Not home from work yet to play it, but I would like to have the opportunity to prepare at least somewhat before I do so.

Might want to try rebuilding the song cache from the options menu if you're sure you've already downloaded those songs.

Entirely different country here but I saw some guy mentioning receiving a code for it in his mail. So I'm guessing it is like that for every bundle out there.

Just got my adapter and it has the cheapest packaging I've seen in a long time. Not a big deal though.

Soon I shall be playing Rock Band 4. What an odd thing to say!
