There is something REALLY wrong with that, if that's the case.

considering that those three letters can come in that order in a variety of completely innocuous words (such as the one I chose for my band title)



I'm almost curious enought to email them and ask. Hopefully it's just an IP thing, and I'm not going to have to keep trying to dance around silly letter combinations.

Yeah I just played Dinosaur Jr today, it's in one of those "hits based on year" challenges. I have no idea what year the song is from so I can't remember the challenge precisely but I think it was 80's hits.

Yeah not really sure what is up with that. A week ago that very same site said that it came with 3 cymbals, and during E3 they said they were shipping 3 cymbals in the pack. With seperate ones being sold for people that just one.

I seriously hope that is a typo, but being that they went to all the trouble to change their page to reflect 2 doesn't give me hope.

There's a three-song Canadiana Playlist with American Woman, You Oughta Know and The Trees in Montreal. It was my hometown, and so I hit it first, and forgot about Rush before hitting the final track, and worried about difficulty.

But Trees is a fun hard song.
 
Some dude just sent me an angry message on how i passed him on seccond overall in Thrasher. I havent played that yet in RB2 :lol

That would be a bizzare thing seing as how like 80 percent of the band names are worse than "unclassy" and i wont even talk about the band signs

I've done Battle of the Bands twice.

Round 1: vs. The Dirty Beavers
Round 2: vs. some band who's logo was a cock (crooked finger with a B laid on its back for the "balls")

You need a RB1 disc and the latest patch. It's in the Extras or Options menu there I think.

There's a Bass only Battle of the Bands on right now, longest streak over a 3 song setlist. And there are bass oriented challenges in regular Tour Challenges.

I think that guy purposely tried to get the lowest score for all the starting BOTB's just so that his "cock" showed up for everybody. When I played one of the new ones up yesterday it was a band that actually tried.

They have the same design of most electronic kits cymbals. (the circle with the raised pie quarter that you hit). If you look at the Ion drums ones they are pretty much the same, but look like they were made with quality material. But they also cost $50 a peice, so there ya go.

Ok, that's gotta be the same guy, because his score (on the launch day challenge, I think) was pitifully low.

I'm not sure if I should applaud his obvious effort or weep for the future.
 
So, I think I might have actually injured my fingertips playing yesterday - they're still numb nearly a full day later. Will take some ibuprofen, but let's just say that finding someone with all of the 360 instruments (I've got a Les Paul only, waiting for the bundle) so that I could perhaps switch between vocals and guitar is a top priority.

Based on the reviews and impressions of the Fender P-Bass Controller, I'd say Mad Catz is taking their Rock Band accessories very seriously. I really wish their $60 Mic/Controller combo was wireless though. I might actually but it if it was, but $60 is a ripoff for that.

The Gamestop one (which also has a trophy appear in WT mode, dunno what it means) and the bass streak showed up late enough for me last night that I assumed they were meant for today, EST.

God they really turned Rock Band into the Forzapalooza that I could never enjoy because I suck at racing games.

They look like cheap plastic, but I guess I shouldn't say anything before I tried them. What does the etched in words say?

First work day back after the game's launch, and no word on how the 20 songs are to be handled? If they do wait a month or more before releasing them, I guarantee that there'll be a flood of "I lost my code" complaints, followed by Harmonix having to shoehorn some convoluted fix into the mess.

Also, San Francisco has the greatest 7 song set in the game.

Their site does say "check back in a few days". Few usually implies three, so I have my pitchfork ready for Wednesday.

Just look under Battle of the Bands. You will need to be online (obviously), but you can view them when playing a "Local Tour".

Enjoy! Personally, I love living in Miami. Wouldn't live anywhere else. Wish there was a Miami arena included in RB. :(
