Yeah, sorry, I love that show too but that avatar makes me want to have an epileptic seizure.
The new Rush pack is REALLY, REALLY good. I went and deleted my old Limelight and Tom Sawyer. Never going to play those again. I'm glad they used the new remasters, the music sounds amazing.
YYZ is insanely difficult compared to the GH2 version. I actually failed it!
I'm really starting to get frustrated toward ION. I ordered the drumset back on the 12th of september and they emailed me stating that it will ship within 24 hours and I would receive an email confirming it. Its been a week so far and I've gotten no such email. I've already emailed them back asking them what's happening with my order, so hopefully they answer back soon.
How long did it take for peoples orders to get to them once they shipped? If I live in Canada how much longer would it take?

YYZ guitar kicked me and my roommates ass. Drums, however, I actually almost managed to get through (near the end, I dropped a stick and lost). By tommorow I should have mastered both.
New (or, should I say, old) Tom Sawyer is a lot better. Like the increased emphasis on the synth and Geddy's voice.

OMFG @ the drums in Moving Pictures.
I knew that the drums were going to be a lot of fun... but they exceeded my expectations! Holy shit! YYZ kicked my ass, but it seems doable, Tom Sawyer is a HUGE improvement over the cover, Limelight has better charting and Red Barchetta is AMAZING, it has the potencial of becoming my favorite drumming song. I still have to play the rest of the album, but so far it has been worthy, even if it means double dipping.
Expert drummers, buying Moving Pictures is mandatory.
EDIT: Vital Signs is better than what I expected.

It's just as awesome as those songs, though. Seriously, DO NOT PASS THIS UP JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW IT. Listen to it first if you have to. I haven't played it yet, but it will probably be one of the most fun songs to play.

On another note any ION drum rocker owners? how are you guys adjusting? I've had mine for a couple of days and im still getting use to it. Im so use to the RB pad setup and no matter what you do you truly can't mimic that setup (you can come close but it really isnt the same) . I've only been playing with the crash as a cymbal. When I add the yellow or blue my mind just goes "huh?"
then there are times were I will miss the cymbal all together or rolls start coming down from all colors I just spazz out and don't know what Im hitting (with both cymbals hooked up). It definitly takes some getting use too.
The great thing is that I can't even blame my set anymore. it never drops notes and it will register every hit you throw at it. Rebound is amazing and the set feels high quality. You can slam on the pads and cymbals and the set will take it.
THE PEDAL THOUGH? what a peice of garbage IMO....I swapped that out real fast. just went down to the radioshack and picked up a 1/8 to 1/4 mono adapter and I was back with my MKII.
