Yea. I'm glad I didn't pay more than $3 for TCV. I actually got bored listening to it.

I got up to "Interlude with Ludes" and stopped it. I'll give it another go on my way to school, but don't expect not'in'.
I know how you feel and I love them. I was so terribly disappointed when I listened to it the first time. Don't know what's the problem but it's still hard for me to listen to the whole album. Love pretty much all the songs, though.

Great job Pedro/Xev/Aff!

I actually played some RB 2 yesterday for the first time in forever. My kid and I geeked for like 3 hours together (I bought her the Gaga songs) and I actually had a lot of fun. Really enjoy some of the RBN songs I grabbed. Always funny seeing a 10 year old girl try to growl with the metal too.

Looks like HMX is also working on "something else". Pulled this from the RBN site. This was in the thread about wanting bands' promo stuff for PAX East and someone asking if they could just drop it off at HMX HQ.

You WON'T be able to get past the front desk. We used to invite our friends over to hang out and play RB2 and drink beer in our demo room (the "Star Chamber"), but then during Beatles we had to close the doors, and now we're working on something equally mind-blowingly awesome, plus RB3...so I suspect that we'll have a closed door policy from now on.

How is a sequel to a franchise no one bought the first two times "mind-blowingly awesome"? Not to mention that we know that Sony wants nothing more to do with the series.

I don't understand how you can enjoy Lady Gaga's antics yet poo-poo Bayonetta's cutscenes.
Your average Bayonetta cutscene is approximately 3 times as long as your typical Gaga song. Some of us have limits!

You know they're terrible but you didn't watch more than 10 minutes. Nice.
You don't have to watch more than 10 minutes to know the cutscenes are awful. It is still GOTY by a large margin, though.

Just heard the best RB album live (it's Doolittle fyi).
I'm jealous.

It is around 8 hours if you skip every cutscene. The cutscenes are pretty godawful though and I didn't watch more than 10 minutes total in my 30 hours of playing.

edit: here is the only cutscene you need to watch
Yeah I won't watch that clip since I'm gonna play the game. Guess I'll go with Bayonetta since it's not a long game.

Bioshock 2 is also pretty good. It's like Bioshock 1 but better gameplay and worse story.
Looks like Darksiders is going to be the last in line.

No man. You can't just watch 5% of something and call it quits. It'd be like me saying Shutter Island is shit after watching the first 10 minutes. They're surprisingly decent. A few of them are kinda boring but you missed out.

Darksiders was actually pretty darn good until the final "dungeon."

I didn't like Bioshock 2 until the last level. It was just the same 30 minutes repeated over and over. The locales and story didn't have any of the "magic" of the original either.

The end of Chapter 12 in FF13 is pissing me off. I hate when they throw in situations where you die in 10 seconds if there isn't a sentinel in your party. I'm insanely over-leveled for where I'm at in the story and random enemies towards the end are still impossible if I don't retry with Snow (fighting two hoverbikes or like four of those rush birds + two death casting c'ieth).

It has got to the point where I think I might use Fang for the first time, get rid of Vanille and switch Hope over to medic. That way I won't lose saboteur options.

My main problem with Bioshock 2 was defending the little sisters while they gathered. That got old so fast.

Best part was, super late game spoilers,
Being a little sister and seeing Rapture through their eyes

I also just started FFXIII last night, got up to where you learn the Crystarium then stopped. Pretty sweet so far.

Pssht... You only have to do it one lame time if you just kill them.

Agreed on the spoiler.

Anyone else beat GoW3 and
think the ending was uber lame, rushed, and edited for time
? Watching the making-of you unlock pretty much confirmed
they cut out the whole ending with a couple weeks left until beta
.

I thought it was fine except the final battle
after Gaia messes with you (the 2d fight was great) could have been more epic. Rather than fighting in her it should have been a combination of the Kronos battle but with Gaia and a cool Zeus fight. That could have been crazy.
Still thought it was great though, but it could have been even better.
