We didn't. The Ion drums were out and they had the stock Ion pedal and no one could really do well. The calabration was throwing everyone off too, so I guess it could have been anyone's game really. Plus the line to try was always nuts. That was a different area than the HMX booth. We did full band Paramore on the HMX stage though and I got it on video. We just played full band Hallowed today but I didn't get that on video sadly. It was epic as hell. All 4 of us sang it at once and we all flipped out on the 20 minutes BRE.

I have what they call dual citizenship and spent the better part of the last decade in canada and I have to say you are wrong.

I'm getting that tekken stick from a friend for 30 bucks, he's used it twice, deal or no deal?

The only place in Georgia I liked was Savannah. I drove through part of the southern state on my way to Miama once, didn't stop anywhere though.

Is it the HRAP or one of the shitty FS3 models? If it's an HRAP model that's an awesome deal. Just order new buttons because default Hori buttons are awful.

It's the HRAP. and I bought it, the buttons do suck :S with their concave-ness.

Where would I find the buttons, and how easy are they to fuck up?

I don't think you can fuck up. Buy all stick parts here. For button type just get Sanwa OBSF 30.
 
You should try to get used to a square if possible. It seems that some people on here ride the hell out of the gate so they prefer octo's. Pretty easy to mod if you like it like that anyway, especially for the TE, doesn't even take a minute.
 
Cork holy shit the chick singer from That Handsome Devil seriously. She is unbelievable dude. I have a picture of her. The band just blew my fucking mind they were amazing and I would happily slaughter my parents just to talk to that girl for 2 minutes.

I just ordered it just in case. I've watched 3 videos that show how to install it and it does look like something i'm capible of doing.

Have any types of buttons you recommend over the standard TE's?

I have no idea what I'm getting into so I just like to hear what vet stick users use. Thanks!
 
The standard TE buttons are fine, they're Sanwa which is what people prefer anyway. If you haven't used a stick before just be prepared to take a beating for a bit until you get used to it.
 
Can someone explain what an octo or a square gate on the stick actually means. I don't know the difference.


I'm seriously deeply in love by the way. That Handsome Devil just blew me away.

I am very jealous of the RBGAF hangout at PAX and I hope next year I will have the money to join in (if we try to have a meet-up again, that is).

If you go to this site and look at the section "Restrictor Plates aka "Gates":" it does a good job explaining.

Do you ever wonder why Kratos fucking hates everyone so much he just has to kill them? It keeps me up at night man.

Also, when you get to it, the ending is weird.
 
So I listend through Axis in its entirety last night. Don't think I'll be picking up the entire album, but for sure I'll be getting Little Wing, Spanish Castle Magic and probably two more :|
