Wii, PCArchie said:The biggest difference is FPS maps used to be free. I don't recall music game content ever being given away at no charge (outside of a few songs).
Ridley327 said:They're not really all that legal, though.
Also, most guys aren't very good at charting.
I understand the profit motive, but as a consumer I am getting shafted with paid map packs. I'd rather see Activision/Bungie/Valve/whoever release free content and keep the retail price higher for many years to help lure new players instead of potentially driving them off by splintering the communities.Costanza said:activision's gotta get money and fuck bitches somehow, archie.
Most customs suck ass though.corkscrewblow said:Customs are free and you can pick any song you want. I'm sure if DLC was released for GH3 PC people would just pirate it or just find the chart and use it like a custom.
The only thing that could be illegal about a custom is the lyrics (copyrighted). Everything else should be just fine.Ridley327 said:They're not really all that legal, though.
I honestly didn't. Ask me on Twitter and you'd get the same answer.ravien56 said:Oh you know what it is. Anyone who has a jailbroken iphone knows.

corkscrewblow said:So now we're all in agreement that GH is the worst game ever?
TheGreatDave said:TheGreatDave: But get this:
TheGreatDave: I deleted my Smash Hits export.
TheGreatDave: Downloaded the Lynny pack
TheGreatDave: Play Free Bird
TheGreatDave: IT'S THE SMASH HITS CHART.
TheGreatDave: Even though I deleted it! And no other Smash Hits songs are listed!
archie4208: :lol :lol :lo,l

You dislike this video. Thanks for the feedback!TheGreatDave said:Not really. I've recorded videos of me playing in the engine and you can make it look fine/act fine. It's came a lonnnnnnnnnng way from the old days.

corkscrewblow said:What he's saying is they just re-used the SHits chart. Neversoft, lol.
Well the Wii is the largest music game market.Ridley327 said:So wait; the updated chart is exclusive to the Wii version?
Bravo, Neversoft.
That's even dumber. What a shitty company.TheGreatDave said:I think it's just if you had the export on your hard drive at any point. But I'm not sure. Whole thing is crazzzzy.
birdman said:If only we had someone else who actually gave a shit enough about GH5 DLC to test to see if this is a common occurrence for the track.
