Were you looking for PART HARM#? The Green Day ones don't have the PART part.

Yeah, just the "Harm1", "Harm2" and "Harm3", right? The second batch of GD tracks have them, nothing else I've ever downloaded does. I don't know how to read the Vocal MIDI parts but nothing in the Hendrix or Queen packs seemed to imply harmonies to me.

Yup (but all caps of course). I shoulda read what you posted better since you kinda answered the question :(

No harmonies in the Hendrix stuff. That'll teach Archie to trust the Rock Band forums! :lol
 
It's very curious that Harmonix aren't just putting harmonies in all the DLC now. It's extra work, but not that much more work. Maybe they have another plan in place, because it seems pretty stupid not to do it now.

I wonder if RBN authors could add Harm tracks to their songs and have them work in RB3.
 
RBN won't let you submit things like that. The stuff in the Creators docs is the only stuff whitelisted and available to be used. You may be able to bypass that by assembling the files yourself, but I think that added in server-side checks after someone started messing with that stuff.

Harmonix discriminating against RBN authors that are already making Harmonix and Microsoft more money than they make for themselves. It's a tragedy.

You realize the flip-side of RBN authors being free to do whatever would result in songs using those awful music video venues, right?

HEy October, glad you could find a new set for 8 bucks, can you send one to me as welll LOlll, there are so many bubles on my RB2 set (that my wife use). :)

At least the new one should not be dropping notes

We're halfway through the ESL, so taking a break for a few. Just finished 'Mountain Song'

Edit: I just tried to change my XBL motto to 'ESL with my son' and that got flagged as inappropriate... WTF??

'RB2ESL with my son' worked fine tho.

Anyone know why?
 
The 360's content filter is super-strict. I have no idea what was wrong with your first message.

I wasn't able to use my band name "Adrenaline Spike" as it was inappropriate. It wasn't until a while later that I realized it was getting flagged for the "Spik" in Spike. smh.

EDIT: Maybe ESL is being flagged as "English as a Second Language" and they don't want you to make derogatory remarks to that group of people?
 
Working around PSO's content filter was half the fun!

Also, after playing around with our demo iPad units, I can confirm that With New Hat is the best comparison imaginable.
