It should probably be around 70 or so, though. I mostly listen to it when I'm working out. :}

On Last.fm, 17. But when I listen at home I usually put the video on YouTube and worship in the corner, so it's more than that really.

It's my second most played track of the last 6 months!

1 Portugal. The Man – People Say
2 Lady GaGa – Bad Romance
3 Portugal. The Man – Work All Day
4 of Montreal – Heimdalsgate Like a Promethean Curse
4 Silver Jews – Night Society
6 Vampire Weekend – Cousins
6 Them Crooked Vultures – Mind Eraser, No Chaser
6 Lady GaGa – Poker Face
6 Project Jenny, Project Jan – 320
10 Dethklok – Murmaider
10 The Flaming Lips – Do You Realize??
10 MGMT – Flash Delirium
13 The Beatles – Let It Be
13 Pavement – At & T
15 Weezer – Kids/Poker Face

To new guys:

If you're looking for party-pleasers, pick up Lego Rock Band. You have to buy it new (or, used, if they can guarantee that the code hasn't been used) then you'll go online and spend an extra $10 to transfer the songs to your drive, but its setlist is purely designed as party pleasers:
-Final Countdown - - - - Ghostbusters - - - - Song 2 - - - - Tick, Tick, Boom - - - - Accidentally In Love - - - - Crocodile Rock
-Free Fallin' - - - - Kung Fu Fighting - - - - Walking on Sunshine - - - - We Will Rock You - - - - Life Is A Highway

If you're just looking to get the biggest set-list possible, for as cheap as possible:
-Buy Rock Band 2 new, use the code in the manual to add the 20 free tracks ($100 for the bundle)
-Rent/Borrow Rock Band 1, use Export in the options menu to transfer it's songs to your hard drive ($5 transfer fee, + possible $5 rental)
-Buy Lego Rock Band, export the songs ($40 total, purchase+transfer)
-Download the few free tracks

So, for $150, you wind up with 305 tracks. (only $75, if you don't need the Rock Band bundle)

Then, depending on your musical tastes, you can add either the Classic Rock, Country, or Metal track pack...buy them new at $20 a piece, for 20 additional songs each. Of those, I'd say the Classic Rock pack is the one to really check out:
Boston – "Peace of Mind"
Boston – "Rock and Roll Band"
Dead Kennedys – "California Uber Alles"
Dead Kennedys – "Holiday in Cambodia"
Free – "All Right Now"
George Thorogood – "Bad to the Bone"
James Gang – "Funk #49"
Jethro Tull – "Hymn 43"
Lenny Kravitz – "Let Love Rule"
Pat Benatar – "Hit Me With Your Best Shot"
The Police – "Can't Stand Losing You"
The Police – "Truth Hits Everybody"
Rush – "Closer to the Heart"
Rush – "Red Barchetta"
Siouxie & the Banshees – "Kiss Them For Me"
Steve Miller Band – "Take the Money & Run"
Steve Miller Band – "The Joker"
Stone Roses – "Love Spreads"
The Who – "Baba O'Riley"
The Who – "Behind Blue Eyes"

Awesome info! Is there a site that tracks all the songs and where they come from?

Well, you can check track lists for all the individual games, and the DLC on wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_in_Rock_Band
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_songs_in_Rock_Band_2
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lego_rock_band#Soundtrack
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complete_list_of_downloadable_songs_for_the_Rock_Band_series

beyond that, if you plan on picking up a lot of DLC, check out http://dlcquickplay.com/ . (they also list the sources of each song)

Also, for those asking about AC/DC, I'd say that I've liked the set-list a lot. I honestly wouldn't even listen to the full album straight through, let alone play it in Rock Band, but I'll definintely play them as often as I do most other artists. For me the standout track is Shoot To Thrill, though I find a lot of the songs just fun to play.

Why would you try to sell Lego Rock Band? Fucking virals.
Because I can easily name 20 tracks that I've liked having in my setlist from it, making it easily worth the $40, and it's the best source of party-friendly songs out there.

Of course, I understand that if someone didn't have any friends that they might not want it....

Tacitus, forgot this link as well...as the track lists for all the Track Packs (1, 2, Country, Metal, Classic Rock)

:lol :lol :lol

Lego RB has some really good songs, but it also has some really bad ones. Like Thunder and Real Wild Child :barf

But if you can get it for $20-30 I'd say it's worth it.

Now we know why you get a heads up about DLC. For shame.

The only song I REALLY want from LRB is Breakout. It would cost me $40 to get that song as opposed to spending $2 if it was on the music store. Fuck disc expansions.

You just seem to see lots of movies!

I do a lot of screenings for my employee's, so sometimes I get stuck watching some stinkers. Get paid at least doing it, although watching shit like the Jonas Brothers concert was an ordeal.

Hmm..realized I made the boast before I was 100% sure. I was fairly certain, but I just had to check...so here, LRB songs that I'm happy to have in my set-list:

The Automatic - "Monster"
Blur - "Song 2"
Bon Jovi - "You Give Love a Bad Name"
Bryan Adams - "Summer of 69"
Carl Douglas - "Kung Fu Fighting"
Counting Crows - "Accidentally in Love"
David Bowie - "Let's Dance"
Elton John - "Crocodile Rock"
Europe - "The Final Countdown"
Everlife - "Real Wild Child"*
Foo Fighters - "Breakout"
The Hives - "Tick Tick Boom!"
Iggy Pop - "The Passenger"
Incubus - "Dig"
Jackson 5 - "I Want You Back"
Jimi Hendrix - "Fire"
Kaiser Chiefs - "Ruby"
Katrina & The Waves - "Walking on Sunshine"
KoRn - "Word Up!"
KT Tunstall - "Suddenly I See"
P!NK - "So What"
The Police - "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic"
Queen - "We Are The Champions"
Queen - "We Will Rock You"
Rascal Flatts - "Life is a Highway"
Ray Parker Jr. - "Ghostbusters"
Spin Doctors - "Two Princes"
Spinal Tap - "Short & Sweet"
Sum 41 - "In Too Deep"
Tom Petty - "Free Fallin"
T-Rex - "Ride a White Swan"
Vampire Weekend - "A-Punk"
The Zutons - "Valerie"

So, yeah, a bit over 30 tracks, so go ahead and remove the 10 you don't like before attempting any real criticism of the list. Are they all great songs to play? Hell no. Heck, some even downright suck on some of the inferior instruments...but every one has provided fun, whether in personal play, online play, or in a party setting.

*mute vocals track, have your singer handle it

Just a tip for acquiring Lego Rock Band:

Try going to either Blockbuster or Gamestop and search the new copies for the export code. Both of these stores are notorious for leaving the booklets and materials in the gutted case on the wall. If found: free export code. Then buy a used copy from GS, download the tracks and return it within seven days for a refund. LRB setlist for $10 bucks.

A cell-phone camera helps with this greatly.

Or, heck, if you've got the web on your phone, just hit up http://www.rockband.com/lego-export as soon as you step out of the store.

Is that what they're calling it these days?

Bebedora, I tweeted, but figured I'd explain here too;

I hit Exit after our last song, forgetting we weren't in a party and cut you off. I wans't ragequitting or trying to be rude, it was just pure dunderheadedness.

:bow :bow :bow

I was truly beasted :lol Good games, you are the master!

:bow :bow :bow

Gonna see how breakneck speed feels over the next couple of days!

Might be a horrible, horrible song but it's fun as hell to play on drums. Just sayin'.

No worries, McBradders, I just figured XBL was being finicky again. I had fun. :)

Pedro would be much more the drum master than I am, but I hope I'm getting better.

The BNS really helped me get to the next level, so hope that works for you as well.

....
valuable information that should be in OP.

btw Im so glad I got Lego and it feels A LOT is missing when I go to play in a console from somebody else....Im the only one that have lego here.

PSN, XBox, and Wii cards are on sale this week at Target. A $20/1600/2000 pt. card is normally $20, but they're $17 this week. Shouldn't be charged tax on them either. MS Points can be had cheaper a lot of the time, but this is probably a really good deal for PSN stuff.

yeah, it is really great. I love this challenging but completely doable solos...I FCed the song at it felt really nice.

The same can be said for Life is a Highway, really cool beat on drums. I love it.

Hey Shaggy, I would be thankful if you can give me notice when you see good microsoft points offers (4000)....Im very low on money this last months....Hendrix and RBN ate almost all my points I bought last week....so Im worried thinking if I will afford the next ones.

Sure thing. There are occasionally deals at amazon or wal-mart for about $40 for a 4000pt card. Is that a good deal for you? I usually try to hold out for about 1/2 price and then really stock up. Those deals usually only come about once or twice a year though.

26 million fans can't be wrong!

Ok finally had the 9 min to watch it. Cool video, that's for sure! Wasn't expecting something of the 'Thriller' length / story. LOL'd at the 'Pussy Wagon' (love the Kill Bill's)

Song's not bad at all, pretty catchy.

I hadn't heard the other Lady Gaga songs before the DLC either, and I've had a lot of fun singing Bad Romance. The other instruments are 'meh' though which I'd expect for a pop/club type song.
