Yes, they still do. I know the guy that runs it, and he's always posting it up on his twitter and facebook page. They seem to get a good turnout every week too.ahvostik said:does anyone here live in New York City?
Does the Village Pourhouse still do their Almost Famous Tuesdays with Rock Band??
sigh... I'm moving to NYC in two weeks and was looking forward to checking these out regularly. I've been once when i was visiting. I met a few guys from the Gurnkillers band that won last years $10,000 prize for the annual Rock Band competition.
I hope they still do something with Rock Band at the bar.

Good newsRidley327 said:It showed up on NoE's release list for July-September.
I'd imagine it's a track pack, more than anything else, especially given the title of the game.

That's fine for me. I don't care that much for special venues and other stuff, anyway.

But seriously, fuck Van Halen.
XShagrath said:I was just talking to someone the other day about how I was wanting some new track packs. RBJ get!
I just hope this track pack (if that's what it is) at least uses RB2 as the backbone.
Could be a possibility. I haven't listened to a lot of PJ after Vs., so I don't know how often they use harmonies. I'm sure they'd be in there though if necessary. Seems a lot of recentish DLC has the harmonies in them.Ridley327 said:Do you think they'd include harmony parts in the export? They could be part of the reason why this has taken so long to come out.
Pearl Jam.XShagrath said:With the exception of AC/DC, they're picking bands that are still extremely popular and relevant though.
More relevant than Van Halen.TheGreatDave said:Pearl Jam.
Eddie in the front. Grohl in the back.XShagrath said:Eddie Vedder is dating Dave Grohl?

They can always redeem themselves with a full game in the future.DuckRacer said:AC/DC was such a waste on HMX's part. Should've gotten the full band game instead of Green Day.

When did the last Van Halen album come out? A decade ago?TheGreatDave said:Barely.

Oh yes plz. Going back to RB1 engine is a bit painful. Also no export fees HMX, kay? Thanks.XShagrath said:I just hope this track pack (if that's what it is) at least uses RB2 as the backbone.
Archie said:Because we all know Van Halen is much more relevant making daily appearances on classic rock radio with the same three songs we've heard for over 20 years.
The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with 189,000 copies sold in its first week of release, the only independent release to top the Billboard 200 that year. It is the first Pearl Jam album to reach number one in the United States since No Code debuted at number one in 1996.[29] On the Billboard 200 dated April 3, 2010, Backspacer logged its 26th week on the chart, making the album Pearl Jam's longest-charting album since 1998's Yield.[30] Backspacer was certified Gold by the RIAA on January 28, 2010.[31]
