There's a lot more than "generic death metal" on RBN, fool. In actuality, there's very little death metal on there, period. Of course, you probably refer to all metal that has slightly growly vocals as "death metal".

Did you Bass the No Doubt stuff yet?

No. I've been doing the bass songs in alpha order by song, so I haven't gotten to them yet. Same thing with vocals. Guitar, I have all played, so I play on guitar on release week to get it done.

I wasn't smart like Bebe to make separate bands for all of my solo instruments and had played in my band on several instruments/configurations. So then when the patch came out last year (the first one with stars) and you had to beat your old score, I just started a new save and replayed all the guitar stuff to start off with, and then moved on to a band for bass scores, and then solo for vocals as well. It'll take me a while to get everything cleared up, but I hope to do it before RB3 comes out, so that I can start all over again!

If we're doing this 'Cast again this weekend or whatever, I can be sure to play through the Priest stuff on guitar/bass/vocals to have something to talk about, as well as listen to whatever new stuff is announced.

Multiple sources confirm that NBC is expected to do the right thing and renew the action comedy for a fourth season. Per one insider, the show has thus far figured into all of the network’s preliminary plans for its May 17 upfront presentation.

Although a 13-episode pickup is the most likely scenario, my moles suggest that there’s also chance the show could be given a full season order.

:O

The better news is that if S4 is a full 22-episode season, S5 would be too difficult to pass up because of syndication.

Yeah boyyyyyyyyy
Man, good news, not that I was doubting it too much or anything. I really hope they get over the honeymoon phase soon though.

...how did this get past playtesting

I think that video is from the version that got pulled for the bad drum fill. Maybe they made some changes to the guitar chart too? I'll try to find another video of it.

Joey Belladonna is back in Anthrax, Spreading the Disease full album dlc plz hmx. I'll settle for just Madhouse for no reason other than getting one step closer to having all of Guitar Hero 2 in RB.

At least we know that the achievements can't get any worse than Bladder of Steel (which is one of the worst achievements in videogame history fyi)

Why do you say that? Just because you're not good enough? I went through once for myself and once to help a friend with no problems.

An achievement that is negated because you need to piss or because your batteries die is stupid. If it were awarded for beating ESL without failing then it would have been just fine.

You don't have to defend every single thing Harmonix does. Seriously.

Well, then it wouldn't really be Bladder of Steel, would it? I can go without pissing for 6 hours, no problem. And a fresh set of batteries should last way longer than that.

You mad.

I play 1-3 hours of vocals pretty much every day, and several hours of guitar on the weekends and a few songs on the other days too. A planned six hours is nothing. Drums, yeah, that might be a problem. But guitar or vocals should really be no sweat for most of us in this thread, at least.

What kind of fucking pussy man are you that your bladder's gonna get fucked up in 5 hours? Seriously?

Alternately, you could just grab a bucket to piss in. I'm sure someone's done it.

A catheter would be fantastic in this situation.

That achievement is actually an achievement, and that's pretty cool, IMO.

You don't see me bitching about some of the drum-specific achievements that I'll never get because I suck at drums.

I'm sure someone would give you a gold star if you did 10 cartwheels naked during a snowy day. That doesn't mean it is a good thing.

I just yesterday failed a song that was two votes away because it had 8 drum fills when, by standards and considering its length, it should have had 50.

Some people are not peer reviewing thoroughly, and some people are ignoring the standards in favor of what they think is cool. The harder and more popular the song, the less actual scrutiny people seem to give it.

I was peer-reviewing a song today that should've had chords in it (could clearly hear them) and they were charted as singles. I went back through the records and saw others mentioning that, and they never fixed it (were up to like v4), so I didn't do anything. I didn't know if that was worth submitting a failing review over or not.

And that's the other half of it. Drum fill frequency, or even chords authored as chords, are surprisingly not hard rules (very tight chords can, in some cases, be better represented as single notes). Some people are saying "well, no hard rule breaks, so it's good". ...No. If it doesn't function suitably in the game, if it doesn't represent the music correctly, it's not right.

So Shag, on that, I probably would've failed it myself. Partly because I've been getting way stricter lately, and partly because the author knows it's flawed. (I've had the reverse with Magician; there's a lot of chords authored where people are saying there's single notes. Markleford even went and said "this is how I think it should be authored", and I'm hard-pressed to disagree. So the final will be single notes.)

Fail those bitches. YOU are our quality control now. Relish this power and cherish the responsibility.
I wasn't sure if that was a "failable" offense, as I don't believe it breaks any of the "hard rules", so to speak.
