So I was sitting in the car flipping radio stations while waiting for someone to get done with a doctor's appointment. Then THIS SONG came on. I think it'd be awesome on RB3.

It even has a pretty good guitar solo.

Yup. I'm thinking tomorrow's will be horrible again, and then the next two weeks will be pretty awesome. Next week's announcement will be available E3 week, and then the other will be announced E3 week.
 
I haven't played all of the Spoon stuff yet, but from what I did play, it was incredibly boring. I tried a couple songs on drums and they were incredibly easy and repetitive. A couple on bass that were the same pattern over and over, and I think I sang "Don't You Evah" today, and while it was better than the other instruments, it was still weaksauce.

Got Nuffin is one of the most disappointing DLC tracks in RB's history, and the other tracks looked ridiculously boring on guitar.

btw, we're supposed to be getting a newsletter next week. I'm guessing they'll do what they did with Iron Maiden and announce a megapack two weeks ahead of release.

It's mellow indie, what do you expect? I thought they were all fun, Trouble comes running is probably the best of them on drums. I have yet to play guitar on any but I sang all of the and had a good time, but I'm a fan of the band so that helps.

I'm crossing my fingers they're saving the underdog for RB3. Its exclusion was baffleing

I don't think Shag was arguing the band's musical merits, just the fact that the songs aren't fun to play.

I haven't played every song on every instrument, so there might be a diamond in the shit. Usually I'm able to find something fun on at least one instrument, even if it is just a couple seconds of fun (like a little HOPO part or a cool little fill on drums).

I have not played any of the Spoon songs, but I would guess that this would be the case. They are a great band, but I do not see their music translating well to Rock Band, outside of the vocals which is irrelevant to me.
 
i agree with those who posted about rb2
man that was ever boring to get trophies on the ps3
sames songs over and over again to unlock a city.
like that wasnt enough u have to play all 84 songs in endless setlist
we already know that games has 84 songs harmonix
after i get platinum not touching rb anymore, the game really sucks, bad timing in their charts and hopos. once you overdrive that yello makes hard to see the yello and orange , and if you playing bass u get this bass groove shit in blue
the game is bad in every way .

Yes bass grove blueish color is a bad thing
endless setlist i know is endless for reason why dont just make play the list from beging why repeat the same songs all over
i have 53 hd tv and yes it's hard to see
i give rb all the songs they get but gameplay really sucks
i was fan of rb before gh
after world tour rb is shit
everyone would always wanted to play rb now everyone just want to play gh
so no rb products for me anymore

If I recall correctly, DanT talking about the feedback they got from various internet forums when they announced the Battle of the Bands thing for RB2, and he said that SH's ideas were for the most part completely useless or something like that.
