I would hope they are/were at least working hard for some sort of full Nirvana release (or even a 3 pack by now would be nice).


Whatever, i'll ride the Green Day train for now, I have been thinking about how much fun they would be to play (and accessible for newbies).

I swear that there's a sound that's played during Should I Stay or Should I Go that's exactly like the achievement unlocked sound, and EVERY time it happens I always look up to the top of the screen before remembering it's part of the song. Am I the only one who hears that?

You know that doesn't always matter.

It is a pretty big album regardless of what you think about the quality
 
Great. I finally broke my drum pedal. Ordered the new Value Pedal Mk II (with a double chain system) and it looks like I'll be getting it Monday. I figured something would break before RB2, so I'm glad that it broke with enough time for a replacement to arrive.

Now hopefully my 360 doesn't red ring.

The thing is, in a way they did announce it. In an IGN interview Dan Teasdale (I think?) mentioned Harmonix having rights to the entirety of Nevermind. And In Bloom and Drain You are on-disc songs, and Breed was leaked in the MTV commercial along with songs from Machinehead, A7X and NiN. Which have been released as DLC.

At this point, though, we'll probably just see a greatest hits pack or something. Which leads me to this:

The Who 12-pack wasn't technically considered an album. I wonder if there's still going to be more album announcements for the rest of the year? /tinhat

I really doubt it. The No Doubt collection isn't an album, yet they announced it with the albums.

C'mon people, is it that hard to imagine? Either he jerked it into the cotton candy until it dissolved under a weak load of sweaty, fanboy jizz from his pop star pop shot or he bought the damn cotton candy and, being Costanza, now he doesn't know what to do with it so he's posting vague bits and pieces here hoping we'll give him ideas on how to work out his confectionery lust. You could say he's a trifle confused.

He's trying to use us as much as he desperately wants to use that bit of what is likely hard, dry, dense, matted old bagged cotton candy. Just like Hayley.

Unless the No Doubt pack only contains content from the original S/T, Beacon Street, and Tragic Kingdom, I think it would have been a better choice to only go with Tragic Kingdom as DLC. Everything they have released past that album (Return of Saturn, Rock Steady) has been a complete and utter disappointment.

Also, the pack better include Spiderwebs, Sunday Morning, and Tragic Kingdom.

It strikes me as very odd that they would announce a bunch of full albums and a best of No Doubt when the "best of" No Doubt is pretty much the Tragic Kingdom album anyway. Much like Boston, they really didn't do much that was that great outside of one album (in the case of Boston, their original s/t).
 
I don't buy the no nevermind stuff at all. The entire album was apart of that DLC leak that eventually had almost everything come out on it.

Probably just saving it until next year.

I'd personally rather they just release Teen Spirit, Come as you are, and Lithium as a pack and call it good.
 
I maintain that songs from Nevermind will come out, just not Nevermind in its entirety. They'll cut the most boring and least-known songs, rather than try and sell people on something like Polly.

I don't think I'm gonna play it again for a bit. I hate that song really, I always fuck up. Fast little hammer on sections of the same two notes aren't my strong point.

I just gold stared Last Train To Clarksville though, which has taken me far too long. That is one excellent song, one of my favourites in the game. Singing and guitar I love. Singing, especially, because I can hit that kind of tone perfectly. I get 100% on hard usually. Take the laaaaasssst train to clarksville!

By the way, I can't believe how bad I am at this game right now. Simple songs I'm fine on, but I can't beat that Megadeath song that came out. I'd like to think it's because I'm rusty; my hand starts aching really quickly, but what if it takes me months to reclaim my iron left hand of old?

Don't worry, Sleepwalker hurts my hands too. It's a crazy song, but I love it.

My girlfriend is fucking off for two days tomorrow, I'm going to rededicate myself to my art. And if I can't beat Sleepwalker after Friday I'll delete it. Problem solved!
