Those would be awesome. Not really familiar with the rest, outside of Van Halen. Don't really care for their stuff that much, but a few of their singles would be nice.
 
I just sent a second email to inMusic(the guys that ship drum rocker) asking about the status of my drum rocker order. If I don't hear from them before saturday I'm canceling my order. I really should have gotten it from amazon, because this is really getting ridiculous.

Free shipping with Amazon is definitely the better deal as well. I'd cancel just for that. Isn't shipping like $50 from the regular guys?

I called them up and asked them to cancel my order sometime in August, and put my order in through Amazon, since I have an Amazon Prime membership and wanted to take advantage of the $3.99 overnight shipping. I got an email confirmation and everything for the cancellation.

The day before I get my drums from Amazon, I get a charge from InMusic on my card for ~$350. Fuckers still charged me, and I haven't been able to get a hold of them by email or phone. In the two weeks since, I haven't even gotten a tracking number, much less an actual drum set from them. So, I called up Visa and told them I was denying the charge.

It really sucks too, since I'd love to order a third cymbal from them. So many songs feel awkward without that third cymbal in play. Unfortunately, I don't exactly have any confidence they'll take care of that order any better than they have this one. :/

Can you get the drum rocker from amazon if you're in canada? because searching for the drm rocker under amazon canada gives me no results, but on the .com site I get it.

The current room I have it set up in is limited on space. I don't even have the room for a proper drum stool, so I just set it up to mimic the standard Rock Band kit. Four wide, same color pattern, with a yellow cymbal on the left arm between the red and yellow pads, and a green cymbal on the right arm between the blue and green pads.

I'm likely moving to another apartment in a month or two, and then I'll have the space I want to set up the drums in a proper arrangement.
 
I wish my Amazon points card would show up. I don't have the money to add any more space bux and I want to play Sorrow really badly. :'(
 
They finally replied! They actually called me directly about 30 minutes after I sent them an email stating I would cancel my order if I didn't get back from them soon. I got my tracking number as well and it looks like it's currently in ohio, with the estimated delivery being on friday. I can't fucking wait. Finally I'll have a proper kick pedal, with proper rebound so I can do megadeth/dreamtheater/ any heavy metal song. My all metal kick pedal has made using the pedal 100% harder than it should be.

the kick pedal that comes with the drum rocker sucks IMO. it's annoying and loud as well.

It's one of those songs that I like playing simply because I find the lyrics so catchy. It's the first Harmonix track I've ever really warmed to.

Besides, I'm not playing at the high levels most of you guys are, so maybe I'm not refined enough to turn my nose up at the simple songs.

I like the song. I mean, I once took it in turns with 3 other people to sing it over and over seeing who could get the highest score (hint: not me). But trying to get a gold star on it for guitar is such a fucking bitch, not because it's hard but because it never ends. Never. Ends.

Also, after reading the BEST NEWS EVER; Harmonix, I've got an idea for your November 18th DLC

ok so how exactly is the exporting from RB1 to RB2 working, do you just need a game disk..or do you need more then that?

obviously you have to purchase the ability to do so from XBLA/PSN

1) Put in Rock Band 1 disc
2) Go to Options
3) Go to "Export"
4) Choose to pay $5 to download a license
5) Game checks for license
6) Copy games to hard drive
7) ???
8) Profit!

With the 55 from RB1 the 86 in RB2 and whatever you have in DLC you rarely if ever do. Thats ALOT Of songs.

I currently have 41 DLC songs, 76 RB2 Songs unlocked and the 55 from RB1 and when i play a random set the chance ill get something i dont enjoy is well slim. Theres also enough content i do like that i dont have to worry.


I mean its your money and all that, but i just dont understand it. Theres ton of stuff i dont like but i love the Russian Roulette of it. Playing Random sets is by far my favorite way to play. Either i get something i love, something im good with or something i hate or suck at but thats the fun part. Like a box of chocolates. (cliched i know)

its just kind of bitch when your doing random setlist, get to song 4/4 and then it picks some gay song like I get by, and you fail it on drums

I don't see what's good about keeping a song you hate playing. Either I never play it, which results in happiness, or I play it and I sigh and feel sad. I have 230-odd songs to play in RB1. I really feel no need to keep stuff I don't like hanging around.

I Get By is only as gay as a grown ass man liking paramore. In the end if you keep I Get By the universe will correct itself.
