Oh man, if that means "Metallica" as in the black album, I will be ecstatic. But I'm going to guess the image is a mistake :(

In the Band Profile page there is a history of all BotBs you have participated in along with your score and your final standing on the leaderboards.

It also shows your star rating depending on if the battle is for highest total star count.

Gold Star = six stars in those cases.

It was actually advertised in OXM as a Metal pack with "Fuel" by Metallica and "Wrathchild" by Iron Maiden.

Never came, along with some other DLC that was announced in the same issue. Like the cover of Shooting Star that was eschewed for a master and put on the RB2 disc instead of the Music Store.

I'd take AJFA or Master over black, but the image says "Metallica. Download full album today." Since the black album is their self titled album, that's what I was hoping it implied.

And the black album is still awesome.

Eh, not what I want. I like feeling something is complete. Like Yoshi's Island. I wouldn't have spent months trying to get 100 on every level without a level select screen that taunted me with "99"'s.

Holy SHIT. The Shanghai stadium is fucking spectacular. I love it.

First time playing "Battery", first time I couldn't five star a song on Medium.

Painkiller was a breeze after that.

Can't be said enough. I love this fucking game.

I haven't even tried the demo, and aside from that I haven't heard anything even remotely decent about it either. :/

Biggest piece of garbage rhythm game ever. Deleted it after 1 song.

The fact that the "gems" or whatever don't match the colors of the buttons, and also the fact that you have to use the shitty d-pad make for a supremely horrible experience. I lasted one song longer than Archie, but that's only because I didn't realize I had to use the d-pad until it was too late in the first tune.
 
So Rock Revolution is still scheduled for next week (where's that thread, Dave? ;) but I haven't really seen any impressions of it like there have been for GH and RB. Why is that? I mean, besides the obvious.

Yeah, I don't like that game. If you could map the buttons I may have thought about buying it.

I'm not making a Rock Revolution thread. It's not worth the effort, sadly.
 
Can anyone explain to me why I couldn't play the Rock Band 1 songs as well as all the DLC content on Rock Band 2 at a friend's house even though I bought my HDD?

Do I need to bring my own system?

The DRM is tied to your system. I think you can recover the gamer tag to his system and play assuming he is signed into Xbox live.

DRM is a funny thing, make sure you'll hooked up to live on the account that did the transfer
