Hay guyth, I'm wondering if anyone ran into this or knows how to get it fixed.

In RB2 World Tour, I've unlocked all venues, gotten the jet, the van, etc. I have achievements for all that. But, I somehow am lacking the Open Road achievement (the one where you have to get a bus).

How is that possible? How can I fix it? Start a new band and play through to the bus or something?

In other news, I finished Painkiller on Hard on drums last night (4.5 stars), so I'm mightily proud of myself! :D

I wouldn't say all of Creed, just Scott Stapp. He's the real problem.
I'll probably get flamed for this but a couple of Creed or Alter Bridge tracks would be awesome in guitar hero or rock band. Mark Tremonti is very underrated. Ties that Bind, What If, Metalingus, would be fun as hell.

Only Alter Bridge. No Creed.

Did you ever play the gig to get the bus?

Or how about Death to the Pixies?
At this point I'm over the whole album thing, give me the greatest hits or make a 6-10 song pack along those lines.

I love the albums. They provide deep cuts. And Surfer Rosa would have been the best album. Doolittle just happened to have their most popular single.

Can't you not get the jet w/o having the bus?

No idea. Maybe you can get enough stars/fans without having to play the gig? When I got the chance to get the bus (or any other vehicle) I went straight for the gig.

I think that you should be able to get the achievement if you join another band that is doing that gig. I remeber that I was able to get the bus before the van.

And damn right you should be proud for doing it! I wish I could play half the game on hard drums.

Thank you, sir. Seems like everyone around me is doing guitar, vocals, bass on Expert. But I don't see too many people beating everything on Hard.

Although, I still can't quite hack Ace of Spades or that stupid fucking death metal song, Visions. I'm close on Ace of Spades, though. Or Panic Attack (jeeeeesus), that thing is insane (rated the hardest). Plus, I have trouble with the fast kick/red/kick/red/kick/red thing in the middle of Battery. My body keeps wanting to play kick and red together. But I'm proud because Painkiller was a bitch and rated 2nd hardest on drums of all songs. It's not bad once you get past the initial drum solo and get the super-fast kick-kick thing down.

I honestly don't remember. It seems like I'd have to, if I have the jet and other stuff, right? I don't see the bus icon anywhere. It is weird. I'll probably just play through to that point with another band... shouldn't take too long.

Transcript please. I bet it is hilarious.

At first he was just saying in a really loud manner 'HELLO HOW R U WHATS UR NAME WHERE U R FROM WHATS UR NAME HOW HOLD R U" etc

Now I think they're in a private chat but I can still hear her. All I hear is her basically saying "whaaat? huh?? I don't understand that word" Because she's from Mexico.

aaaand now the dude has stopped playing completely and is trying to get her to come up to where he lives.
Time to bail the fuck out.

You and BBG should cross the beams and get the goober on BBG's stream. :lol :lol

Do you still define a band leader in RB2? That's one of those things that bug me about RB2 because I had to create different bands for every time I wanted to play another instrument.

Nope. Characters can pick any instrument now.

That's awesome. It really sucked to do that during my Rock Band multiplayer party. I really hope the November release will also be for the PS3 version over here.

Fuck, maybe I'm having an off day, but I just failed 3x in a row on Dr. Feelgood on Guitar. it's only supposed to be 3 stars difficulty, but the main riff is really hard to get and the outro is no joke either (and it lasts forever...).

"...girls and fucked 'em at school.
All I know is that there were rumours he was into field hockey players."

Definitely.

Although I'd say that post-Fight Club "Where Is My Mind?" might be slightly more well-known.

I would like to sing Gigantic in Rock Band. I'd probably fail it on hard or higher, but whatever.

I love "Gigantic". It might be my favorite Pixies song. Frank Black was such a fucking dick to Kim Deal. He really should have let her write and sing lead more often.

Then again from some of the interviews with her that I've read she doesn't always come off as the most stable of people either.

I've listened to as much of Black's stuff as I can get my hands on, but Deal...I dunno. Last Splash never grabbed me, and I've never searched out anything else she's done.

Have you heard his cover of "Sugar Daddy" on the Hedwig and the Angry Inch covers benefit CD
Wig in a Box? It was fucking great.

Sadly, the album as a whole had some great bands that I like, but a lot of mediocre tracks. I mean, the They Might Be Giants track ("The Long Grift") was really poorly suited to their talents and the Imperial Teen track was far more electronic than they usually go. Amazing, amazing line-up though: Frank Black, The Breeders, They Might Be Giants, Spoon, The Bens, Sleater-Kinney w/ Fred Schneider , Imperial Teen... hell, Stephen Colbert even does a brief spoken-word intro.

TheGreatDave said:
I've heard the song (and like it), but never the album. Now I will seek out Colbert.

Not worth it. It's just, like, 15 seconds of him doing the spoken intro to "Tear Me Down". Of which Spoon's cover is pretty good.

I just find it interesting that he was even involved. It seems a bit odd and since it was even before his show IIRC, I wouldn't think that they would have really sought him out for it.

Fun fact: I went to college in and subsequently ended up living in Manhattan, Kansas for about seven years total. It's basically 15-20 minutes away from Junction City which is really little more than a small town formed around the Army base. Of course, John Cameron Mitchell actually lived there as well, but it's just like depicted in the film. It's a miserable nowhere in the American Midwest. Suburban, but not near any actual urban area.

The hell? I was stationed at Ft. Riley from 1997 to 1999 and Junction City is representative of most towns that pop up around a military post: strip clubs, clubs, and trailer parks. Oh, and a Wal-Mart. I liked Manhattan, though. Oddly enough when my brother enlisted he was sent to Ft. Riley as well. He lives in Manhattan currently and is a police officer. When did you move away?

I'll agree entirely with that. The thing is, the entire area is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and there isn't really a hell of a lot ever going on there or any reason to want to live there.

I was in Manhattan from 1999-2006.
