Rocker RONNIE JAMES DIO is well on the way to beating stomach cancer - after doctors found his tumour has shrunk considerably.

The Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Dio frontman's health crisis prompted his current band Heaven & Hell to scrap European dates last year (09) and he has been in treatment to combat the disease ever since.

Now, Dio's wife and manager Wendy has posted an online update on his condition.

She writes, "It has been Ronnie's 7th chemo, another cat scan and another endoscopy, and the results are good - the main tumour has shrunk considerably, and our visits to Houston (cancer clinic in Texas) are now every three weeks instead of every two weeks."

You are so fucking awesome, man! I'll give you a call when I land. I'm only bringing my carry-on bag. My flight arrives at 8:55AM. Hopefully that's not too early. My other options were to come in the afternoon and pay an extra $1-200, so I went with the cheaper option.

I only hummed/mumbled a couple near the end. I listened to like 5 seconds of the preview to get the general gist of the song and off I went.

I'd probably do even better on these if I was standing while singing. But the TV's currently on the floor and that wouldn't work very well. So I'm sitting on a mattress while playing.
