Kesha is so bad, any hope I had for the 2010-20 decade to have better music than the 00's was killed when she released that single.

You guys know the Temper Trap? theyre pretty good if you like current "indie." Octobrah the passion pit album was dissapointing, especially after hearing the reeling like 30 times on XM over the course of the last few months. It was a decent album but I still like the reeling best.

I like the Temper Trap album a lot. I think Sleepyhead is the best song off The Passion Pit album followed by Little Secrets and then The Reeling. I wasn't claiming it was a tremendous album by any means it just has really upbeat kind of techno-ish tunes and I dig it for the most part. I skip a bunch though.

Bad Romance sounds kinda weird. There's so many layers in that song changing things is quite noticeable.

Also I think I hit the wall in FFXIII. I've done all of the low level and mid level missions and half of the Titan Trials but the A class missions destroy me and anything after C in the Titan Trials just fucks my shit up with little to no effort. I killed one of those fucking giant tortoise dudes with a collectors catalog and a connoisseurs catalog but he didn't drop anything at all never mind a trap. I have every guy at full level on 1 class but I really don't feel like grinding forever for the CP needed to max everyone out. If I could easily farm gil somewhere I could afford to buy a single Trap and then break down Vanille's Nirvana to get three of them and go nuts with my other weapons but I have no idea where to go get gil in any kind of reliable way. What did you do Cork or Xev? Did you grind at all to get crazy levels?

I find that boring though and if I'm not having fun I refuse to do it in a video game generally.

Also Ravien are you transferring songs or are you actually playing Rock Band 1?

I can do it as long as I can still have the feeling that I want to fill up all the Crystariums. Hell, I just did a bit of grinding to pick up more Incentive and Credit Chips so I didn't have a piss poor amount of Gil.

I maxed out 1 class per character and the top tier is 60,000 each. It starts to wear thin when you fight for 20 minutes running in circles to reset enemy positions and you fill up 1 single crystal.

I haven't got to the "go anywhere you want" part of the game yet. However, can't you just go back to Chapters 4-7 (guesstimate) and farm the chips? They sell for a shit ton.

D= And I want to try and get the Plat trophy.

HPLY FUCK! the reflow worked! Holy mother of god thank you, I don't have to play 30 hours of FFXIII again!

Ravien, it wasn't too hard actually. I didn't even take pic's for reference. Everything has a nice little place to go and there are arrows where screws need to go in atm instead of later, so it worked out really well. Theres really not that much inside the PS3 its weight is mostly power supply and heat sink. I lol'd when I was cleaning the thermal compund off of the GPU and I saw "RSX REALITY SYNTHESIZER"

It won't be that hard, it'll just take time. I'm going to do it just because I think the idea behind a platinum on an FF game is crazy, although there is less to do in this one than previous entries from what I can tell so far.

The credit chips and shit do kind of sell for a lot but I need 2 million gil just to get 1 single Trap and then I need another roughly 1.5 million to fully upgrade just Vanille's 1 weapon. Dismantle that piece of shit and get 3 Traps out of it and then it's 1.5 million for each of the three weapons I need to upgrade.

Farming credit chips from low level guys gets me absolutely nowhere on the CP scale as well. 60,000 a fucking sphere is ridiculous.

Take time is an understatement. And good luck 5 starring all the A class hunt missions that shit is brutal.

And collecting every single item in the game. Seriously fuck some of those trophies.

Transferring. I'm glad I didn't throw the game out or whatever. I assumed it would be like LRB where its a song pack on your download list but guess not.

Yeah fuck this game. I'll quit after I beat because that is beyond ridiculous. There is barely any gil in the game to begin with. The max I've had was around 80k and that was with selling every type of chip.

Through regular play and about half of the missions I got like over 1.3 million but that was with the 3 platinum ignot things that you get from the little robot dude you fix in Vanille's and Fang's old house. You have to run around like 10,000 steps on Pulse for him to give you that reward. Those things sell for huge money, like really huge money.

So on an average play through, because I'm by no means "good" at this game, you will get enough money for not even a single catalyst thing to upgrade to Omega. I ran around for a while on Pulse digging with the chocobo for buried treasure too and found like 3 gold chunks which sold for a lot as well.

It's really ridiculous.

The MxPx song One Step Further that came out yesterday is pretty awesome on drums and it's only 80 points. Check it out. Full Song | Trial Song

Also, anyone who likes Sublime, Long Beach Dub All Stars, Pepper and bands like that should check out Cali Girl by Ballyhoo! Love it on drums and it's probably my favorite song to listen to that's been released on RBN.
Full Song | Trial Song | Video - YouTube

Sorry for going off topic. FFXIII is pretty cool. Just got to Chapter 8 last night.

Oooh. Will check out both of those. In fact, I think I actually have "Cali Girl" downloaded, but it's just the demo.

I have always wondered that about Dave. You're in Europe right? Why are you always around during normal hours with us US folks?

I'm not complaining or anything, haha. Half the time I see you posting I'm confused why you aren't in bed though.

Long story short: my job used to be a way to pay for university (I only work around 24 hours a week, usually in at 6pm, sometimes 2pm) but I bailed out of uni in my last year cos the timing became too difficult and I fucked up stuff. But now, I still only have my manchild job. So I tend to end up sleeping till 3pm most days and don't sleep till 6am. My girlfriend can't get a job at the minute (even with two degrees) so I have nobody making me be normal, she sleeps retard hours too. I should be going back to uni part time in September :(

Sorry man. It took me three separate times to finally finish college too. It all ends up alright in the end.

I've always had shitty sleeping habits though. When I was in high school I got like,,,4 hours sleep a night :/

I blame staying up till 4am on Sunday's for WWF PPVs when I was 12 and realising I wasn't tired the next day.

Yeah I was completely backwards during my first couple stints at real college. I'd stay up until 10am then sleep until 6pm. I'd get in arguments with my roommates for waking me up while they were making dinner. I was a fucking douchebag.

This fucking data transfer utility on the PS3 is garbage! I'm raging all over the place, can you use a back up utility(mass storage) to transfer your RB game data (aka dlc) to a different PS3?

DLC prediction for tomorrow:

Cream Pack 01

White Room
Crossroads
Strange Brew

It will be awesome, but not as good as the Gaga pack.

That's pretty much what I did but locked saves Aka RB2 don't transfer unless you do a ethernet transfer.
Tomorrows dlc is guaranteed to be better than Lady crap pack.

Does the ethernet data transfer send EVERYTHING over? Or do you have to run the back up utility first and take care of the non-locked stuff?

It's working!! But the shitty thing is I have to make it work 2 more times :( why you ask? Because I have an upgraded harddrive in my fat, and a 120 in the slim. So I'm transfering to the slim, removing a the fats hard drive and replacing it with an 80gb I have lying around, transfering back to fat, and finally swapping out HDD's with the old fat drive into the slim. Woooh that was a mouthful, what a ridiculous process. It should only take about 3 hours when all is said and done.. unfortunately I had to delete about 80 gb's worth of DLC, installs, and PSN titles. So redownloading wont be fun, but it is better than having to download 600 RB songs and install them.

The ethernet transfer does transfer everything, except singstar songs :(:(:( But it will transfer a RB2 locked save. Everything that is locked will be deleted from the original PS3, and everthing that isn't will be on both consoles when all is said and done.

BTW, to make the utility work, connect both PS3's with an ethernet cable and turn them off, turn them on again and select the utility and it will work. Just keep it on the "new" ps3 video input on the tv because you have to initiate it once they've "shaken hands"
