I kinda like Longview, and Hitchin' A Ride is OK. Anything else, Ke$ha wins.
 
I'm getting a sort of "hiccup" in the middle of songs on PS3 RB (the audio keeps going, but video freezes), and I think this started happening after I upgraded my drive - anyone else experienced this?
 
I've had it happen a couple times, but it stops and gets normal again. it rarely happens too.

Her new song is even worse, I watch(loosley) american idol with my wife and she played it live, it was soooo bad, she sounds so much worse without the production.

though I was SO tempted to use Aerosmith, considering yesterday's activity in this thread...

if I had, it would have been HooDoo/VooDoo Medicine Man off of Pump, simply because there wouldn't be a weak instrument.


Also, I do believe there needs to be Aerosmith in Rock Band....Classics is one of the all-time best "Greatest Hits" album from any band.
 
Do I live in a completely different world than most of you? How do you get exposed to shit like Tik Tok and Lady Gaga? Before seeing a thread about them or having someone post in here, I'd never heard any of their stuff. Sure, I'd heard *of* Gaga, but never actively listened to her stuff.

The only real way I get exposed to new music anymore is either RB or music news sites (mainly metal/prog/rock) or something like youtube or wiki and finding a similar artist or another band that has a member that I dig.

Can't this question primarily be answered by your "I mostly listen to metal!" comment earlier?

Personally, there's a radio on at work all the time, and I listen to Radio 1 on my Zune a fair bit.

BTW, I'm trying to sell my 20-odd Xbox Live 1 month codes on eBay :teehee

I mean, I knew this stuff was on the radio or whatever, but I just assumed no one that had a choice would listen to the radio. I mean, I'll turn it on in my wife's car from time to time because she doesn't have an audio jack for my Zune, but I always turn it to the classic rock station because they play a lot of songs that are in RB.

That works if you live in the US and have a decent radio selection. In montreal there are only 2 radio worth listening if you don't have a jack. CHOM (mostly classic rock but sometimes more like classic pop rock ugh) An the buzz (which you will be lucky to tune with some static if wheather is nice) a Burlington,VT radio with mostly band like 3doors down, lionkin park, kings of leons a.s.o. You will not ever hear metal, great rock (except on chom sometimes if the stars are aligned) or whatever you like. The other radio in montreal are only playing things like Gaga and kesha or stupid french singer for the 40-something women. So if your MP3 is out of battery or you cannot use it on your radio your are ool.

EDIT: Also ever been asked to chaperon a primary school dance ? I was, you learn a lot of the music kids are listening lolll Aaaah the beauty of having kids lolll

I have a kid. She listens to stuff from Queensryche, Pantera, Gaga, Cascada, etc.

My 5 yo daughter likes iron maiden, rise against, offspring, metallica, but she also likes gaga, disney channel artists,....
 
I agree with Shag. If it wasn't for the silliness in this thread or the random "laugh at this artist" threads in OT, I would have no fucking clue who any of these people were.

Zune > CDs in my car > Pandora on my Droid > Liquid Metal > Rawdog

LOL! Yeah... I give her grief all the time too (jokingly of course). I'll hear her singing her ass off upstairs to some Crüe then the next thing I hear is frickin' Tik Tok. *ugh*

She makes lists for stuff she wants loaded all the time. I swear to god, every list is like this: Queen, Mamas and Papas, All that Remains, Rhianna, Stevie B, Demi Lovato.

I'm like W.T.F?

The wife and I listen to all kinds of music too

Heh, that reminds me of when my son (9) made a list of his favorite artists a couple of months ago. I think Muse was first, followed by Kaiser Chiefs, but then tied for 3rd place were Elton John and Judas Priest.

I figured that's the only list ever where they'll share a spot.
