LOL X. I just looked them up on youtube and they're like some 50 year old cover band who can only get a gig in a 500 person town.

I also wanna say worst dlc ever but Lady Gaga will hold that title for years to come.

I guess two awesome weeks was too much to hope for. This week is a big fucking zero.

But Gaga makes it OK.
It's not like you can realistically top something as amazing as Lady Gaga DLC anyway.

Well, at least next week we'll hopefully get Pantera. They already missed their first oppurtunity to release it last year, so if they miss this one too, then they're missing a huge chance for adverDLC.

Did you see the cover Duck posted of Cowboys earlier in the week? Bunch of kids doing it.

every week is a chance for adverDLC, and it seems they're capitalizing on every chance they get.

He's talking about good adverdlc though...

Fact; if you dislike Range Life, you have no heart.
I don't mean to be rude, but are you serious? I'm all for artistic merit and being different just to be different, but that dude sounds like a pubescent homeless crack addict. Fucking Britney Spears and Ke$ha sing better than that when their autotune machine breaks down.

[viral] Fake Shark-Real Zombie - Angel Lust is an awesome song and is only $1. I can't recommend it enough. [/viral]
yeah, I bought every song from this band and I have no regrets. Africa was awesome, keep on with this man.

Wired has been the best RBN viral, damn he has made me spent more than $20 on RBN.
Thanks

I hope more people do this because I cant download demos in seconds like you (trying to use youtube for seeing charts is an even worse experience)...it is a chore for me so I cant try everything.

Worst DLC ever.

You have to listen to the notes he's not singing.

I don't know if I signed up for an account wrong, but that link says "song not found" and searching for motorcide brings up no results.

If you're not an XNA premium, you can't see in-progress songs. If you go to the Creators Club forum and don't see Playtest or Peer Review forums, you're not Premium.

Hell no. One of my favorite songs (and charts) in the game.

X is a legendary punk group. Best original punk band from the west coast imo (late seventies). I would buy all of Los Angeles and More Fun in the New World.

On a more serious discussion of indie music not swamped by trolls on both sides....

The appeal of the genre is in the imperfection. Pop music and the like is very polished and processed, indie is the antithesis of that. Problem is, some indie bands and many listeners take "imperfection" to mean "bad". There is a talent to being off-key correctly, to making mistakes sound intentional, to using typical musical tools in odd ways.

It's like a Pollock painting. Some people shrug and don't get it, some people love it conceptually, some people are downright offended by its existence. Whether or not it's bad never really seems to factor in.

Oh, I completely understand. That's why I prefaced my comment with the whole "artist merit" thing.

That said, it doesn't change that I thought he was a bad singer. I also think abstract art is stupid. :D

So is this the week of the Last Ditch Beatles DLC Pack?

Yesterday
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
Please Mr. Postman
I'll Follow the Sun
Something

and if people really need them:

Hey Jude
Help

Glad I could help. RBN has been a drummers dream so far. I've got around 40 songs and nearly all of them are awesome on drums. Here's another song that is awesome on drums that I picked up last night Edge - Under Water I Drown.

Well put. I love lo-fi indie especially old Pavement, Sebadoh, Guided by Voices...there's a magic their first albums had the later albums lost with studio polish.

Well I pretty much have to buy the Gaga pack for the ladies in my life, one in particular who is obsessed with her needs to play that, so I guess I play for both teams in this thread. I'm buying them but under protest.

But even then there's the schism even within the Indie genre between the "artistic" ones you mentioned and the ones that just attempt a more diverse, less radio-friendly sound. There are a lot of layers in the genre.
