Was wondering the same thing, but if both Costanza and Dave like them then they're probably pretty shitty.
I asked my friend who likes shitty music:

So how the hell do I get the items I used in crafting in TF2 back? A bunch of my shit is gone because it was consumed for a token (which I don't even know what it does anyway, I was just fucking around). I want my shit back. First bullshit achievements now this, why did Valve do this?

Dude, you crafted it, it's your own damn fault.

How the hell was I supposed to know it would destroy the items that took so long to get?

Because that's exactly what crafting is? It's "you take three Xs and get rid of them for a Y."

Give the albums a listen dude. They're good. Csb will just shit on it for not having crazy epic guitar solos and vocals that sound like zombies.

So you lose 4 important items, which gives you a token. And you use that token + a class token (which also costs 4 weapons) + a scrap metal (which costs 3 of the same weapon?) to get 1 weapon? Wat. You're using 11 items total to get 1? Why would you ever do such a thing? And how do I get my 4 things back? And how do you even get 3 of the same weapon to begin with. This makes no sense.

It used to be Hipster shit, but it got crazy crazy popular, I think any Hipster cred they had vanished when they were nominated for a Grammy.

And Ravien don't church it up, Oracular Spectacular has 4 good songs on it. That does NOT make a good album.

Doomsday Party by Sybreed is so awesome, love the way the song sounds. Those 2 fast verses are badass too. It's a dollar people, get it!

You get items you already have by random drops. You craft them to get metal. You craft the metal to get more metal. You craft the best metal for hats.

The point of crafting is hats. You should be getting every weapon by achievements before you really need to craft.

Just Cause 2 sucks if anyone cares. It was fun for about 5 minutes messing around with the "tether a moving car to a stationary object" mechanic, but after that bleh. The airplane controls are god awful too.

Who's buying tickets?

If you're really into music, you might have heard about the touring festival called Lilith Fair, which was held annually from 1997 to 1999. It's been 11 years since the last run, but now the Lilith Tour is back with a whole new lineup of female artists, including Kelly Clarkson, Ke$ha, Vita Chambers and Selena Gomez, who was just announced on Thursday.

The tour will kick off on June 27 in Calgary, Canada and travel through 36 cities throughout North America. While the bill is stacked with over 80 rock, pop and folk artists, Selena won't be singing at every date on the tour. The festival is designed to have a rotating lineup of musicians during its summer-long run.

The 2010 Lilith Tour will welcome fresh female talent as well as solo artists and groups from its original bill. Tickets for announced dates will go on sale to the public, beginning Saturday, March 27 on LilithFair.com. Do you think you'll go to Lilith this year?

I've played the demo a ton. Love it.

So to get the items I used back I just have to pick them up off corpses or what? If crafting is for hats, why'd they make it so complicated?

I did this with the first one, played for about 6 hours total. I bought later and hated it. Since I had fun with the second demo I assumed the same pricipal would apply.
I didn't try the demos, just going off the full game. Stuff I didn't like:

- Insanely weird forced auto-aim. You don't have to put the reticule anywhere near an enemy. As long as they're somewhere in the center of the screen, you automatically shoot them.

- Extremely unpolished.

- Cutscene graphics are horrid.

- Plane controls are awful. Instead of gracefully turning left or right, you pretty much end upside down the entire time.

- Climbing buildings with repeated grapples takes forever because you only move up like 5 feet at a time. Which is super awesome when the objective is 100 yards above your head...

- 75% of the time you're out of ammo. The guns only hold 2-3 clips even though you're expected to blow fucking everything up.

- You have to be hate fucking the car in front of you to get the stunt jump to work. I could have swore in the first one you could ridiculously fly half a football field away to takeover a vehicle. I didn't try grappling first, maybe that's the trick.

It kinda just hit me. Why wouldn't Harmonix and Activision release a XBLA/PSN version of RB2/GH5 that has no songs, but they you can just download and pick out whatever songs you want. Fuck, put up songs that are on the disc for sale. Make the thing like $5 or $10 to buy. Then every song costs $2. Wouldn't that, potentially, end up being more profitable? I'm sure a ton of dumbasses would do it.

And then make everything playable with a controller again, so dumbasses can also buy things, find out they don't have instruments that make the game good, but can't complain because they can play it with their controller.

Phew, last report's done. Boarding pass is printed out. I'm ready to fly out.

And Highlord finally got their legal cleared up. Probably won't be able to get the paperwork from them to upload tomorrow, but it'll be up right after PAX.

Another $3 song went up on RBN. Mayday Parade - When I Get Home You're So Dead. This time the label is Atlantic Records.

The uploader has a number of other songs that are only $1. There's a common belief that there's a mistake going on.

I would hope so. No one is going to pay $3 for some unknown emo band. Are his other songs from bands on Atlantic or is the author saying it shouldn't be that price? I really hope the big labels figure it out and the $3 thing doesn't become a trend.
