What are you guys even talking about in this thread all the time?

Why no mention of today's DLC? BECAUSE IT'S AMAZING!!!!
We already talked about it last week when it was announced.

I played through the album today with me on guitar and a friend on drums. We only failed 3 songs. I think I might've passed them all on guitar only, so I'll go back through on solo play tomorrow or something.

Also, hardly anyone in here plays on a regular basis besides a handful of us.

The engine works fine. They're just not fun to play.

OK, I just couldn't let this lie...

Orlando is my favorite city in the world
So, I get that you don't travel much, and I appreciate Orlando for being a giant playground...but on a list of 'best cities in the world' it really is pure shit, and I'd be shocked if you hadn't been to a greater city. Heck, Quito's history alone would put it far and away above Orlando, and then it gets an additional bump for being on the side of an active volcano.

In any case, I guess what I'm trying to say is that you've got to get out more. May I suggest Prague, San Francisco, Kyoto, London, or Florence?

I don't think you'll find anyone in here that disagrees with that. That doesn't change this matter, though.
I'm sure somebody here recently was arguing Painkiller was epic, which is why I brought it up.

Obviously the ideal is Free Bird, but we haven't had a great epic last song since RB1. Besides, it's entirely possible a song can be recorded for a game and be epic, I still think the cover of DWDTG was (though not in it's boss form)

Devil Went Down to Georgia has an advantage Mustaine doesn't, though; it's based on a pre-existing song that many people find to be epic already.

I'm taking a wait-and-see approach right now, but I'm not initially that impressed.

I'm not quite as down on Vicarious Visions as some of you are, but they do have a lot to prove once they take over after GH6 ships.
All NS have to do is leave them a shell with good leaderboards and decent career and quickplay modes and VV can't fuck up GH enough to stop me buying it, but I do have very low hopes.

Saw a stage kit for 20 bucks at Gamestop and picked it up. My game room isn't that well ventilated so the fog was pretty freaky but the lights are awesome. When an intense part comes up it does a strobe effect. Glad I got it.

Buy Drowning Pool - Bodies on RBN and then watch the greatest lightshow in all of Rock Band.

Sweet, an Anti-Flag song went up for play test or peer review or whatever. I think some other people here like Anti-Flag. Cork maybe?

We Are The One" / band: Anti-Flag / genre: alternative punk / label: SideOneDummy Records / author: @RG_Studios

Not very familiar with their new stuff, but I like what I hear.

Oh, and another Apples in Stereo song is in play testing now too. Dave should be happy about that.

Looking at the rest of the pics... Umm.. I don't even wanna know what the fuck was going on in some of those people's heads.
They had a chest with a bunch of random costume clothes that people could throw on before they got on stage. Most of those are probably from that.

oh, Im ashamed of myself because you are so right =(...

Quito is one of the biggest atractions of the world and so many turists come here....it is a problem with much ecuadorians (including me)....foreigners know more about the beauties of our country than us....and when we go outside to places like Orlando and other US cities and feel that we have traveled 15 or 20 years ahead of time it is so overwhelming that when we come back to our country it looks so little and insignificant.

But I understand your point...I cant say nothing against it because it is so true.

Some of the best places in the world are the ones that are "behind" the times and still have a classic feel. Culturally that's a great thing. Slapping a new coat of paint on a city isn't always the best thing.
