Sure, the argument of "well, that's what they said about Prime!" can apply, but we know substantially more about Other M pre-release than we ever did about Prime and it sounds like the extreme conclusion to what was first started with Fusion. As someone who decidedly disliked Fusion, this is not a good thing.

Did anyone pick up Warioware DIY? My seriously hardcore buddy got it and said it's somehow awesome.

I might snag it today if I can find more people to trade fucked up levels with.

How many frickin' songs did you guys do? My kid and I do that song every time we play just for the laughs (and because it's oddly fun). I taught her the crab and that stupid standing-in-place run that these bands do nowadays.

I totally forgot to do the run in place thing. I didn't realize that until after the fact. That's why I was jumping up and down at that part instead.

I think we did like 5 songs. The only one that's missing now is Powerslave, which we did right before October dropped Charron and I off at the airport.

I finally must be getting back into the groove of things because I passed my first Megadeth song last night that wasn't Lucretia.

And I don't think the woman who says they have it actually has it. I think they got Powerslave and Painkiller mixed up. :( But, oh well.
 
Alright gang. Not knowing anything else about the songs (other than they're glam metal), would you guys prefer:

-- the song that starts with a guitar solo, or
-- the song that starts with a drum solo?

Beyond that they're pretty similar in terms of everything else, so I'm just curious which one intrigues people more.

However, I hate shit like that Van Halen song at the end of GHWT. If the song starts out with a messy guitar solo that's pretty much random if you fail out at 8% or not, I don't like it.

If it's Glam metal, you gotta ask yourself, during which solo can the player do a jump-kick, pretend to play upside down, spin it around their neck and finally throw the instrument up in the air and catch it?

Choice is pretty, pretty clear me thinks.

Man, I never could get into that kind of grind-y metal. I love blast beats too! I like Dillinger Escape Plan and Converge though, I think its the whole sucking-in-air-growling vocals that I don't like. That coupled with the fact that there are 1000 of those bands, and fuck Chris Barnes

Haha. See, I don't like DEP or Converge. I do hate Chris Barnes outside of Cannibal Corpse though. I mean, I really think he sucks.

Edit: I was also more partial to the lyrics of the song I posted. I didn't even pay attention to the music that much, haha.
