You guys still play Uncharted 2 co-op at all? Hope so, cause I finally got around to picking it up last night. Hadn't bought a PS3 game in forever. Also grabbed Just Cause 2 and FFXIII for the 360.

Anywho... need some of you on my PSN Friends list. Only have like 7 people on there and 3 of them I know IRL got rid of their PS3's. :(

PSN: JCahill

Hey bud. Didn't we run around in Sacred a couple times? Don't see you in here much.

Yeah we did,I didn`t play Sacred 2 in quite sometime though hehe...

I didn't think it was possible, but my Value Pedal Mk. II broke.

I'm glad it happened now rather than later though, I'm still under the one year warranty for another 18 days. I put some duct tape on it and that's holding up fine, but I emailed their customer support, we'll see how it turns out.

My red and green pads don't really bounce anymore because of all the bubbles and gorilla glue and I have a pedal made up of three other pedals kind of doing the trick right now.

I need new fucking drums pretty bad.

This. :( My red pad fell off (not the casing, the pad part of it) so that's duct taped on, my green has a huge bubble and my yellow and blue have small ones, my pedal snapped in half but if I tighten the screws enough on the plate it holds together for awhile, and all of my pads have a tendency to drop notes:lol

I really need to get Goodwoods or something.

You won't even need drums for RB3 because it will use Natal and it will just know what you're doing*.

* And get it wrong every time.

Good thing I have it for PS3 so I don't have to worry about that shit.

Invest in a Ion set.

I've had a Value Pedal break and the customer service was great. There should be no problems there.

I'm in need of a new drum set myself. Still have my RB1 drums. Never drops or double hits any notes so that's good, but I don't get any rebound. Makes disco beats tiring. Those $20 silencers were a damn good investment though. Protects the drums very well. Got to save up for an ION soon.

The Cure are reissuing their best album (imo) "Disintegration" in May

fingers crossed for HMX full album DLC or at least a track pack.

adver-DLC ftw.

This is not a club that I want to be a part of!

I'm still using launch RB1 drums and never had any problems with them (outside of going through like 7 pedals). Eventually I'll need new drums and I was thinking of splurging for the ions when that time comes around, but October was saying that he'd played on them and didn't like them. I'm not sure if he's just crazy or I should look into alternatives.

Sounds like you have the same setup as me. RB1 drums, silencers and value pedal.

Yeah, pretty much. When my pedal broke I asked to pay the $20 difference for a higher quality pedal of theirs instead of getting the same pedal, but they were out of stock at the time. It took a while for them to get it in so they just gave me the upgraded pedal at no extra cost since I was patient with them. Really cool people working there.

Awesome, cork doesn't have to kill me now.
How about some Opeth now?

btw I'm sticking to October. I tried showing Archie this bitch I'm tryin to nail and he just kept talking about squats and other meathead stuff.

I added a few of you Baker, Mcbradders, Name, and Cahill. I got my TE stick, now I just gotta brush up to still get my ass kicked in a giant endless GAFRB match.

Gonna play some SSF2HDR and MVC2 tonight with some buddies since I have two sicks now :D I also downloaded the KOFXII demo from the JPN store, I didn't know it existed until someone bumped the thread today. I'm not very impressed, it looks nice, but the backgrounds seem too busy, it's hard to focus unless it zooms.

Don't worry, I'm so rusty at SF4 it's not funny. I'll play though as long as you don't care that I pick Abel 75% of the time.

Man in an endless fight? I could care less, it'll be a giant bullshitting chat room. I like Able too, I haven't fought against him much because my friends don't ever pick him though.

Cork, haven't played for a super long time, give me a couple days to get back into it so I can bring some sort of resistance :lol I have one friend that is super good at SF in general. My goal is to play enough to beat him, I've never really got into the technical aspects of SF but I'm looking forward to trying with SSFIV

Played one at PAX and fucking hated it.
That's one thing that scares me about buying one. I'd like to at least try it out first. I'm sure PAX probably isn't the best place to get accustomed to a new drum set though. Everyone who owns them says they're awesome so I'm sure it just takes a little while to get used to them. They've got to be better than my RB1 kit though.

You don't need to practice to compete with me, I'm kinda bad at ST/HDR. I just play it because there's no 3s on PSN and it's not as bad as SF4.

So when is all this U2/SF4 stuff going down? I probably have the least amount of social responsibilities of anyone in this thread, but I still need to structure my nights correctly if we're having massive play sessions. :lol

I've heard they make a shitty E-drum kit, so if that is a selling point for you read some reviews about them as an E-drum kid. Personally the PDP silencers provided a lot more bounce for me, and I love the RB2 kit with cymbals. Mine all function almost flawlessly, sometimes the yellow has issues though, if you have ever played real drums you will love the cymbals (but you will hate hate hate the open hat charted to blue)

I hate playing online when my kids are awake, they distract me soo much. They go to bed at 8 mtn time, so I usually play online stuff from like 8pm-2am. But I will play earlier than that, I just don't prefer to.

Nah, I'm not going to use it for a real drum kit. My buddy who is in a band just got a new set and is going to sell me his old kit soon. I'd rather play on a traditional kit than a e-drum set anyway. I just want a RB kit that's going to last a long time since between my brother and I, RB drums get used a lot.

I sold my Street Fighter 4 but I will be getting Super so whenever that comes out I'm all over that. Just ask in the thread if you want to play UC2.

I beat the shit out of my drums and those PDP silencers made my drums last quite a long time. I wish I could acurately tell you how much I've played on them so you get a good idea, but I'm very confident my drums would have fell to shit if I didn't have those. I think using cymbals also helps because you are using your pads less. The Ion starter kit is affordable IMO, so if you want real durability I don't see why they would be a bad option. And if you want to try them out, I assume you are in a decent sized city that has a music store? They are the same drums as the Alesis DM5 I believe and the DM7 are pretty close too, and most music shoppes carry them, so you could call around and see if you can demo a set.

I was planning on just getting the core setup at $199 or whatever it is. Going to a music store to test out a similar kit is a great idea though. I'll have to do that. I'm pretty careful with my kit too. I am still using my RB1 kit after all. It's more my brother and my friends that I have to worry about breaking my shit. Another reason I want to get a better set is I think my RB1 set is holding me back on my scores especially when it comes to rolls and disco beats.

Yeah I hate other people.

My RB1 kit was pristine for however many months was between RB1 and 2. Then my neighbor came over and broke the fucking pedal by playing Bon Jovi on Easy once.

I have 2 RB2 pedals just in case a situation like that arises.

Please tell me FF13 gets better.
It does, but the intro didn't bother me that much because at least the graphics were pretty.

If you get a few hours past the introduction of Paradigm Shift and still don't like it, I don't know what to tell ya.

My friend did the same thing. Came over, played one song and broke my pedal. I've gone through about 5 or 6 pedals and I didn't break any of them. Now I have a nice pedal that shouldn't break and a RB1 pedal with a Metal Pedal on it for backup.

What chapter are you on?

Chapter 2

and i already despise Vanille, and Sachz terrible terrible characters. Hope is the generic young kid in your party, and Snow is ok i guess but God damn. Those two make me want to shoot myself. Lightning is awesome though.
