If you don't like season 1 then the show is definitely not for you. Season 2 and 3 both have stretches where it's not great but 4, 5 and 6 are all amazing all the way through. Season 1 though is unbelievable.

I liked 1, 2, 3 but felt it lost the plot after that (crap, bad pun). The
time-travel stuff
was when I bailed. Although, I am watching this season because it is the last.

It gets shit hot in season 4, IF you can make it through the 6-7 episode slump in season 3 (niki/paulo smh) then you are in for some seriously awesome television. I almost quit watching it during the 3rd season, so glad I didn't.

I liked the niki/paulo ep. However, I also watched that season on DVD, where I watched 4 in a row. If I would have had to wait a week for that ep, I would probably be pissed as well.

It was a fine episode, the problem is that it was a filler episode, it was 2 characters that you had never seen before. I was entertained but I was asking myself what the fuck I was watching way to many times.

Could use A LOT more Violent Femmes, wish they were getting the 3 pack here.
I was going to say something but then I read this

So we're finally getting violent femmes and it's not blister in the sun, kiss off, or add it up? Boo.
and it said it for me. I'm happy, but there are other songs in my druthers.

tl;dr (A five sentence paragraph is long, I wouldn't put it past you) - douche, aren't you? :lol
Maybe it's the use of touche in place of touchy, but I read that pronounced the same as touche, but with a d.

We Are The Nightmare is pretty fun on guitar, solo is so damn fun. Took a few tries to 5 star, barely got it at that.
So it's good? The demo showed very little (no surprise there!) since they didn't chart the opening guitar.

This is now a thread about Mark Ecko's Getting Up.

That reminds me. One thing I tend to hate about progressive/post-rock albums is that the cover tells you nothing about the album other than "you're probably not meant to understand this".

The artwork can be great and the album can be great, but damned if I know what's going on.

Yea, see? Exactly. You see that, you are not expecting flute. That is not a face that is experiencing a flute. That is a face experiencing a bagpipe played poorly.

Thanks, wonder why neither guitar nor drums are charted at the beginning.

It's all a "baked down" stem, so they can't separate them for authoring. Sucks but it happens.

Yeah, they're slow on that one. They came out over a month ago.

I still have the philosophy of "just get 'em in the store". Every person who hits the RBN store for the first time is someone that could start browsing, and that's someone that might demo/buy one of my tracks. Can't do that if they're not even looking at RBN.

Oh yeah, I totally agree with that. I've been reading the creators forums here and there and I've noticed some worry about promotion and stuff so any way to get people to the RBN store is good. Hopefully HMX can put some of those ideas everyone is coming up with over there into play soon. Same with the possible burnout of people wanting to playtesting/peer review songs.

I find browsing the store to be a shitty experience though. Maybe there has been an update since the last time I was on RBN, but there is no All Songs list. I did not like going through each letter of the alphabet by band. Maybe there is a better way to search, but that is how I was doing it and it sucked.

You know, I don't contribute too much to this thread besides reading it every day at work and you and I don't converse ever. I'm obviously not a regular poster in the thread.
I find that I disagree with a lot of your opinions. But I give you props for wanting Heads Will Roll.

High Five?

thanks my friend =)

the good thing is that if I go to Orlando I will be in my best drumming shape, I have played a lot lately...for some reason I am in love with RB again...

When will you be up there (if you go?). My boss just asked me today if I wanted to go to a SAP conference in FL the week of May 17...

Also, almost forgot to mention, that I love the Femmes... :) Ronabo and I's first date really was to a Violent Femmes concert.
