How fast do you think before that $70 GD game gets down to around $50?

Songs like Date Rape certainly do at least. 40 oz to freedom was, self-titled is more Alt/Reggae, if you wanna get picky.

It's easily classifiable as ska though, I mean it is different, thats what made them so good though, thy put their own spin on it. That and Brads vox of course. It's not like rudeboy ska or dub specifically it kinda rolls it all into one and is obviously more modern and punk-y sounding.

I have 6 pages to catch up on but I'll just put this here: I wanted CvS3, not MvC3, but at least they finally get to retire that Morrigan sprite. :lol
Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. You got joke-blocked.

I turn down the recorded vocals a little bit, but never all the way down. I prefer having my voice blend with the real vocals.
I'm the same way. I can do fine with just the pitch meter, but having the actual vocals there allows me to match better.

That thread needs to be nuked from orbit. I can't believe I inhabit the same planet as some of those people.

I can't go in there anymore. The bitchfest in the thread is at astonishing levels of idiocy.

I listened to previews of one of their albums at a music store once. It didn't impress.
It's progressive rock, I wouldn't expect you to like something that isn't metal. They are the modern day Pink Floyd.

Hey, a question for all you 'Expert' singers...

Do you guys turn off the recorded vocal track? If not, do you keep it full volume?

It honestly thought it would have been seen as a major crutch that the expert crowd would shun, but every vocals FC video I've seen on YouTube has the original line still audible.
I turn it down until my voice is louder than the track but just barely.

They're ok but dude :lol :lol
I'm not saying they're as good as Floyd but a lot of their stuff reminds me of PF. No prog group will ever be as good as Pink Floyd
except Rush

How foolish of you.
I don't remember you ever liking anything that's not metal. You just call everything dad rock.

I'm not actually serious. I just think it's funny because it totally is something dads would listen to and tell their kids about while the kids go back to listening to MGMT or something.

...I can't believe there was talk about banning certain shit from being discussed/posted here. Crazy.

Regarding the podcast talk, I'll pass. I'm never home on Saturdays/Sundays anyway and by the time I come home, you guys are all asleep. I'll listen to all of it like last time, though.

Also, night crew!

What’s your thoughts on full album concerts? A lot of bands been doing it lately. I know it’s usually for the album’s anniversary or for a certain occasion but it’s not always a good idea

wtf happened in here?

Christina Hendricks is superfuckinghot. Skinny bitches gtfo.

Podcast is happening. Be ready for the bomb to drop when I get the free time to get it started.

I started watching season 6 of Lost last night, thankfully I did otherwise I would be gunning to throttle the life out of Cork by now.

This coffee is too strong.

My girlfriend fucking sucks at stealth games, I wanted to cry last night as she kept running in to a room of dudes with the biggest gun she could find and letting rip. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- this is a sneaking mission, bitch. SNEAKING MISSION.

Depends on the album I guess.

Like Megadeth and Testament recently, Rust In Peace is pretty much perfect and The Legacy is the only Testament album that I really think is amazing. Those two setlists are pretty much perfect to me. Megadeth played some more extra hits while Testament played I think 2 extra good songs.

The fuck? Testament did the Legacy?!!! Why the fuck wasn't I informed?!!

Yeah exactly, the album does matter but adding other hits is a must, 2 songs is too little. I mean for the hardcore fans it's like "HOLY SH!T BEST THING 3V3R!!!!" but for normal fans 2 songs is not enough to complete the experience.

Yeah they played all of The Legacy and then Souls Of Black and Into The Pit.

Also I saw Mastodon play all of Crack The Skye which was awesome.

Everyone = One person?
He's probably speaking for everyone else on GAF. It starts with one guy, and then it's the entire board. It's like the Tea Party, except we're the ones who are Barack Obama right now.

Usually, I don't pay any attention to it at all and can't be bothered with turning it down or up. Once in a while if I'm having trouble with a new song I'll turn it up a bit so I can hear what I'm supposed to be doing, but most of the time I just hear me singing in the headset.
