Almost, but not quite cork. Really good album though.

I'm a big fan of almost anything off of The Process of Belief for beginners. Plenty of short and sweet songs at the start, and a Pink Floyd homage in the last song on the record to boot.

If you want a dirtier punk sound though, there are good choices on How Could Hell Be Any Worse?, their first album.

If you just want some fast shit Duck, I'll give you a shorthand list:

Marked
Modern Man
Turn on the Light
Beyond Electric Dreams
Murder
Big Bang

Bad Religions most popular songs are scattered across their discography and they don't have a greatest comp outside of a live album. I'll suggest:

American Jesus
10 in 2010
Los Angeles is Burning
Infected
Automatic Man
Generator

I recommened stranger than fiction and no control and suffer if you like the first two.

Compilation albums:

Blah.

Good list of the hits.

I was mulling over whether or not to suggest one of those albums, but decided to go with Process because I find it to be the most solid of their recent albums post New America.

Comps are good to get a good foothold into an artist/band. Especially if it covers their discography.

You're really better off just buying a few singles off of iTunes or listening on youtube to get a good feeling over whether or not you'll like the band.

GH comps are pretty cheap and tend to have a good amount of songs. Sure, it's not ideal, but to someone who doesn't know the first thing about a band, aside from maybe a song or two, they do get the job done quick and dirty.

Hell, I have a few GH comps myself, Boston and The Who for example.

I think comps are fine for well established bands that have at least 8 albums. For a band like Atreyu to have a GH comp is laughable. I think most of the material should be from at least ten years ago if not more too. I think they are good because it helps the younger generations accessability to better music from era's that are seeming being forgotten more and more as the years go on.

I do think that live albums are superior to a comp, IF you are a fan. But if you aren't I wouldn't recommend them over studio material in most cases.

Also chalk one up for the "cliché" album

(srsly plz hmx, sellout and beer would be so much fun)

Wow, i didn't know we had so much love for RBF on here. Im sure CSB will come to ruin my happiness. If worst comes to worse, i'll bother them at Warped Tour until they decided to sign to Charron's RBN studio

I don't think anyone cares but I'm super pumped to be seeing NOFX on friday. They pretty much got me into music when I was about 12 and they are still one of my favorite bands.

I actually don't like RBF too much.

I do, however, love Forces of Evil. Shame they are no longer together.

Ok, you do realize that Angry Anthem would be censored to all hell?

"Fuck all you motherfuckers, fuck all you motherfuckers, fuck all you fuckers, fuck you"

God i want to play it T_T

You're a bunch of dressed up fucking rats.

You get anything you want,
Mommy's dressed up fucking runt.
You're fucking lounging in daddy's fucking mansion.

And all your fucking stupid names,
Blair and Tabitha, that's fucking lame,
Z-A-C does not spell Zack,

What the fuck is with all that?

I saw them play that song in a church. Best day of my life. Big D didnt play it the 2nd show during the tour with Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, and Suburban Legends. I was shocked.

I've only seen them once. It was Kevin Goes to College (a local band), Big D, Streetlight Manifesto and, one more band which I can't remember. I skanked so hard that night, I was sore for days after. Best concert of my life.

Not a fan of Big D and the kids table, I saw the a couple of times, totally inappropriate openers both times btw. Goldfinger has not been good for years but they were great at one time.

I agree, but i wanted to say i saw them live. Besides, while the new songs may suck, that does not mean the band still can't play well live, to which Goldfinger did.

Hey, a question for all you 'Expert' singers...

Do you guys turn off the recorded vocal track? If not, do you keep it full volume?

It honestly thought it would have been seen as a major crutch that the expert crowd would shun, but every vocals FC video I've seen on YouTube has the original line still audible.

I turn down the recorded vocals a little bit, but never all the way down. I prefer having my voice blend with the real vocals.
