Right, RBGaf-cast talk time. Need at least 3 peeps for this weekend. Who's interested for sunday afternoon?

Charron, fancy coming on to talk about your RBN experience?

When does this go up for playtest, and just how hard do you want me to be on it first pass?

This easily has the potential to become your best seller, though

It'll be up when the upload bug is fixed. Be as rough as you can, I honestly did a pretty sloppy job on it so far. Especially the reductions.

I suppose I could. My mic situation isn't the best, though.

MCS...NIN covers?...tell me more..

Head Like A Hole
March of the Pigs
The Hand That Feeds
Hurt
Closer
The Perfect Drug
Wish

Also, i forgot to mention, Weezer did 3 covers for their first encore. It went Hot for Teacher/Pork And Beans, into a cover of Kids by MGMT(This being dumb since the band before them was MGMT) and then, Poker Face. So Dave, sound like the best show ever? (They played Why Bother? and Surf Wax America <33333)

I'm in. Just need to remember to grab my headset/mic from work. Otherwise, I can use my RB mic. What program should I download to record the audio for you? And I'll need Skype too, right?

Yea, I'm gonna need to work out the logistics of actually joining in. Hopefully the band can do another noontime practice this week and get out in time.

RBClub was a pretty big success last night. We had about 20 people show up throughout the night and played a good assortment of songs. Dedicated the 7 o'clock hour to RBN stuff, even though a few of them were on PS3.

PS3 Dude: Are we going to play every RBN song?
Me: No.
PS3 Dude: Well, how are we going to fill an hour? Aren't there only like 10 songs?
Me: There's more than 200.
PS3 Dude: What?
Me: :lol PS3.

Of course, all this fun could not come without a price. My yellow pad started getting really wonky near the end. I thought maybe the piezo got loose or something, but upon popping off the head and taking a look around, the solder on one of the wires came undone. It's not a difficult fix, but I won't have time to get to it today. The good thing is that it'll probably be a stronger hold after I fix it than it was at the factory. My red pad did the same thing about 6 months ago, and I soldered it back on with a friend and it's been perfect ever since.

Like I said before, should keep a BU set of the heads and pedal if you're going to do this regularly. Nothing's gonna kill the fun like broken drums.

I run it once a month. I don't have the extra funds to buy extra equipment just for backups. If I start doing the venue thing and the compensation is good, then I probably will. I'd probably go in and re-solder all my heads anyways to make them a bit stronger too. Might end up doing that tomorrow when I fix the yellow.

This is the "I have black friends!" excuse.
I do have a black friend! Well, he's half-black. He's pretty amazing at rhythm games, and equates that to his "innate black rhythm". He's only got a 360 and a Wii though.

QUICK! DEFUSE THE SITUATION!

Even the PS3 RB'ers in here wish they had everything the 360 version has. How is the 360 NOT the superior console FOR RB? When I'm in a RB setting, RB is what's on the mind, and so that's what I would be referring to.

PS3 has better exclusives, for sure.

The PS3 has a better community and quality of players. I'd say it's the choice for most RB people.

Right. I was thinking 3, maybe 4 eastern. I can't do it any later as I will probably try and edit it straight after recording. I will PM you guys with what you're going to need before Sunday once I hear from someone who has some experience doing this stuff.

Also we need a name for this. And nothing specifically Rockband, it would be nice if we could be inclusive of all current rhythm gaming.

Cheers!
