You are drinking the wrong beer then, or not enough of it.NameGenerated said:Beer tastes terrible
Machida was in last year too, or you mean the demo? I thought it was much improved but it still got boring pretty quickly. I had 3 friends over and played it for about 45 minutes. Were all into MMA too, so I probably will just keep the demo and never buy the full product.corkscrewblow said:It's still doable without a programmed controller
also, October you try out the UFC 2010 demo? Feels so much better than last year + my boy Lyoto is in it

I'm not sure age has everything to do with it but it has an effect, when we were 16 we drank whatever, even if we hated the taste. I started to like beer my senior year. Freshman year of college I was legal though (in canada) and that when I really started to enjoy it. All the good micros are just coming out here, I love spring and the delicious micro brews that come with it. Montana has a lot of microbrews that are really good, much of it is comparable to Sierra nevada, not too many lighter micros in these parts. My favorite non micro beer is Kilkenny, its a great irish cream ale, try it if you ever get the chance.AMUSIX said:a few things:
1) The new No Doubt songs are a blast to play, really fun drum and bass parts...
2) Played Swing for the first time today...REALLY wasn't expecting that solo in a country tune...pretty awesome guitar part, through the whole thing, actually

3) Water*, Coke (real), Juice, Milk
*my heritage is Czech, so 'water' also includes beer
oh, and beer is as much an 'acquired taste' as tomatoes are...meaning, it's not one...it's just a food that is too strong or too complex for most juvenile taste buds. Oh, and American macro brews are shit...luckily, we have fantastic microbrews...and I live in one of the best beer cities in the country.
I don't know. One time you told me Guitar Hero was a good game.TheGreatDave said:Would I lie to you?

I can think of 3 people I hang out with on a regular basis that don't like beer, its always skewed like that from my experience too. I guess there aren't many people in this thread that have an affinity for a cold beer.
I meant he's in the demo, and yea I'll probably do the same and just never buy the game. All I need is Lyoto.Terrordactyl said:Machida was in last year too, or you mean the demo? Juvenile taste buds don't always relate to the age of the taster (though usually they do). In general, though, kids don't like strong flavors (Strong mustards, tomatoes, wasabi, beer, wine, etc.) This is usually due to their taste buds lacking 'experience'.Terrordactyl said:I'm not sure age has everything to do with it but it has an effect, when we were 16 we drank whatever, even if we hated the taste. Of course, everyone develops different tastes (I myself don't like tomatoes or mustard, and my friend can't stand onions or pickles) so I understand someone not liking beer...I just blame the parents.

Guitar Hero 3 on the other hand, whoo. What a game.

That is some great news. I'm so gonna be sad after the final episode (unless it's absolutely horrible which I really doubt).TheGreatDave said:http://darkufo.blogspot.com/2010/05/breaking-news-lost-series-finale.html

They probably had to pay more than a penny for bandwidth. If you aren't going to play them anyways, why buy them?TheGreatDave said:I bought them for a penny too. But realistically I'll never play them, so it's a free penny.
