You want to troll with the best of them.

Besides, even if that were true, HMX probably licensed more songs along with New Fang but couldn't chart them in time.
Just like the Metallica tracks, right?

Harmonix can release TCV stuff next year.

Played through all of Tragic Kingdom last night and it's definitely my favorite album in RB. Every song is great on drums. I just wish there was a way to play it all with one click instead of having to make a setlist.

Here are some RBN songs I've been enjoying lately.
Doomed by 8 Inch Betsy - Chart (Early Version)
Heads or Tails? Real or Not by Emarosa - Chart
Plans & Reveries by Black Gold - Chart (Left Handed)
Take Control by the New Regime - Chart (Left Handed)
Chalk Lines by Division Day - Can't find a chart right now
Shot At The Title by Your Horrible Smile - Chart

Finally got stems for a song I've been planning to do for a while. But drums and vocals are both baked down, which sucks. Gonna have to go back and get split stems for both of those, and a dry vocals track. At least the guitars are split right. And the song's got a 7/8 breakdown, which is pretty cool.

Just got around to watch the last Survivor. Holy fuck that show owns.

In related Rock Band news, there was a joke I wanted to do after the DLC announcement but couldn't because I was too lazy. So, I'm a bit late on this, but :

BREAKING THE LAW ! BREAKING THE LAW !

In podcast news, I'll be out of town on Saturday so I probably won't be able to make it to the recording :(.

Here's the PS3 RBN songs for next week.
Between the Buried and Me - Mordecai ($1.99)
Blackmarket - Tongue Twister Typo ($1.99)
A Day to Remember - I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of? ($1.99)
Mayday Parade - When I get Home You Are So Dead ($2.99)
Seether - Remedy ($1.99)

We're still correcting the issues with getting the RBN tracks out on the PS3 in the EU, but as a result the Mayday Parade, in all likeliness, won't make it into the 5/12 release in the EU. Our Audio Team is in touch with SCEE to make sure we get the correct tracks released on the same time line as the US PS3 releases and things should balance out in the next week or so. Thanks for your patience!

EEK. Guitar sounds like it's being played through a little tin can.

Looking like no 'Still Alive' for our PS3 friends, eh? :( A shame.. it's one of my favorites.

Yeah, I really hope the mix doesn't sound like that in the game. It sounds like a decent punk song too, but there's no way I'll buy it if the sound quality is that bad.

Lots of heavy riffs with death growl vocals and also lots of soft/acoustic riffs with clean vocals. Opeth is the best band right now.

Sooo... that's a yes? You're going to tell me listen to it now, aren't you? dammit.

Space Cadet doesn't even like Morningrise, what a scrub :lol :lol

You're an idiot. I do like it; I don't like it as much as you, though. Every few months we go over this. :lol

My Arms, Your Hearse is when Opeth starts getting amazing, before that they were just great.

Are they introducing platformer physics?
You can change the physics, yes. The new platforming tools seem to be pretty awesome (grappling hook, yeah boyyyyy), but you know the RPG/racing/puzzle/etc game creation tools will be underdeveloped for LBP 3 to improve upon :x

edit: MM instead of dumbass Sony monkeys are working on the netcode, hopefully it won't be a laggy mess online

so instead of it being an unrefined platformer it will be an unrefined everything?

OK...so the other day I bought Dookie and American Idiot to see if I'd be interested in picking up GD:RB, my thoughts in non-sentence form are as follows:

-music is largely derivative pop-punk
-from a compositional view, AI is so much more advanced than Dookie
-guitar and bass will largely suck for most of the game
-drums and vocals will be interesting-ish
-will there be a single guitar solo in the game?
-if we're able to import a select number of tracks (or to selectively delete) then I'll get the game

Also, Judas Priest DLC is awesome....Live Judas Priest DLC sucks shit.

Listen to something other than metal sometime bro.
I do. All the friggin' time.

I think Alkaline Trio is my most-played artist on my Zune.

I remember seeing a solo when they were playing it at PAX East. It consisted mainly of a bunch of really fast chords.

I won't get fooled again

LBP was awful and unplayable online because of lag
Online was laggy and shit. but local and SP was really fun, the only thing I hated about LBP was the fact that they only released one level pack a year, The MGS4 pack and Pirates of the Carbines pack are really great.

I'm playing LBP PSP now and it's really good, I love the mini games too.

There's a few solos on American Idiot; off the top of my head, I can remember them in Jesus of Surburbia, Boulevard of Broken Dreams and American Idiot.
