Actually, now that I go back and look over what I have, I like it a lot...so I guess I'm revising my request to trying to find someone who can finish this off, trim the fat, tweak certain things, and stuff...doesn't have to be done in flash, so I guess the page would have to be rebuilt.


but no mouse bubbles.....wow....where's the fun in that? I mean, maybe if you suggested making them popable, I'd understand...or turning them into bunnies...

The font for the Home, Media, etc. links should probably be changed as they are harder to read with certain words (GOLM(game of the month), faq and articles to be precise).
 
Update on Xevren/Jon:

Got more details from his sister. He went to the hospital on Saturday and got his appendix removed, the surgeon cut his small intestine, didn't notice, and sewed him back up and sent him home. On monday Jon went back because he couldn't breathe and they found fluid in his lungs (apparently the turned him down thinking he was just wanting drugs). On Wednesday he went back in and they found the cut, opened him up and took 6 inches of his intestines out and resealed it, at that point he had gone septic and now it's a waiting game on if his body fights the infection or not.

They've un-sedated him a couple of times to see if he brain is functioning normally, after the first time the had to restrain him, he tried pulling the tubes out and he's opened his eyes once. I'm going to go visit him later on today, he won't be able to communicate back but the nurse says that he's able to hear, so I'm going to tell him about all you guys and that you guys have him in your thoughts. :)

I'm really glad he's still fighting when they un-sedate him tho. Keep it up, Xevren!!!!

Those MOTHERFUCKERS!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I want to go kick something. Stupid assumptions by stupid people. Two whole days make a huge difference in this sort of thing. :(
 
The turning away thing is bullshit.

I'd be reluctant to ever sue a doctor though. I mean maybe if I could get millions out of it, but it's a difficult job at the best of times.

To be fair, people coming in complaining about false symptoms looking for drugs happens a lot, especially in inner-city hospitals.

That said, completely refusing to even look at him is inexcusable.
 
Don't know Xev, never played a game with him, but that situation fucking sucks. Sent some cash to the paypal fund.

What kind of hospital worker has a guy come in saying he is in pain (and that he was recently released from the hospital) and doesn't fucking confirm the story? I'm sure they get a lot of skeevos looking for painkillers. But if the guy says he was recently admitted and released, that fucking look him up in the system to see if he's legit or not before going all "NO DRUGS FOR YOU DRUGGIE GTFO" on his ass.
 
I investigated a lot about this (mostly wikipedia) and now I understand it is even more serious than I thought.

Guhnmystro I dont have enough words of appreciation for you for keeping us informed about Xev. That is the only thing that matters now.

Lets all make force and root for our friend.
 
I donated, sadly my paypal account isn't tied in any more since my bank account got jacked however many months ago so I had to go the credit card route. We need to get him something nice.

Totally!

Hearing this bad news today has sucked quite a bit, but it makes me happy to know our little community truly cares about its members, and we've even had donations from lurkers, which is just awesome as well. I guess humanity isn't totally destroyed just yet.

Current donations: $186.53
 
I'm sure just the money itself would be great, its not nearly as sentimental sure, but it could compensate for lost wages. Ill donate a few bucks later tonight too.

If you want to double-check and make sure your donation went through, PM me your name as that's how they show up. So unless you put a message in there with who you were, I've got no clue. We've had 16 donations so far.

I figured RB3 bundle would be the obvious choice.

Just from seeing him on my friend list all the time, that dude still plays the shit out of RB2.

Yeah unfortunately I've had experience with how serious this is... But people do pull through it as well, so even though I'm literally howling angry at the hospital, don't give up hope yet.

The fighting when awake is a REALLY good sign.

That's good to know. It must be such a shock to wake up with a bunch of tubes sticking out of you. What an awful situation. Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

When Xev pulls through the donation money should be put towards a good lawyer. Doctor was incompetent and so was the hospital. Damn that is just the lowest of the low, turning someone who is in pain away...

Glad to hear the info, Bebe. I tried calling my mom earlier, since she knows quite a bit of medical stuff, and hoping she could help ease my mind as well.
 
Holy shit! I just checked my work email and they're having a ceremony next week because we're opening a few new buildings on campus.

MuteMath will be playing a free concert in one of the buildings on Wednesday, June 9th!
