It works on android but when it goes to standby it times out so you have to sign back in. Ill look for an irc droid client later I'm sure it exists.Ashour said:

Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated today, I saw xev this morning, he's about the same, his blood sugar is leveling out a bit and his fever is going down, both good signs. Jumped onto RB2 and saw the message of the day thanking a community member cataloging the RBN songs. What caught my eye is they said something about songs being 'retired' (or something to that extent).
Can anybody tell me what this means, please? Will songs be removed from the RBN in time? Australia and some other regions don't even have the RBN yet! It'd be a horrible thought to lose some of the RBN songs I want to play before I get a chance to play them.
Also, on that note: do some RB2 songs get retired, as well? I seem to recall a long time ago (before I imported RB2) seeing 1979 by Smashing Pumpkins available. However searching now I can't find it.

Side note: Rock Band nights at bars seem to be coming more popular in Orlando (which is awesome, as i'm not much of a bar goer, but my friends are, now I got a reason to come out! lol). There is a bar in UCF are I can't remember the name of, those same people also set it up in a nice/upper class bar on the Sandlake/Dr Phillips area. Also there is Cricketer's Arms pub off I-Drive (near the outlets mall), doing it either tonight or Monday's (one night is trivia night, the other RB, I haven't gone to either yet). I'm surprised you haven't made an excel file listing all the places in Orlando that do these nights lol (hell, I'm actually surprised I haven't)
There was another teacher at Full Sail that approached me about using my equipment for an RB Bar Night, and he was going to contact some bars/venues to see about hosting, but I haven't heard anything concrete yet. He said he's contacted some places, and no one's shot him down yet, but they're needing some time to think on it or something. I'd go solo and do all of it myself, but I don't have much business sense, and I also don't have all of the extra equipment like TVs and sound and whatnot that they might need provided.PacoDG said:

And, I just saw the message myself. They're talking about the Peer Review process. Songs have 30 days to get approved before they "expire", which only means that the song has to re-start the approval process. Noble's been maintaining a thread about how close songs are to expiring (since the site interface doesn't give a countdown on Peer Review songs, for various decent reasons.) This is all way before the song is available for purchase.
