I was thinking what songs I tried to learn at first. It was The Hardest Button to Button and Burning Down the House. Since the only reason they would have not released Burning Down the House was to wait for keyboard, you might as well wait 'til RB3 since both of those are surely in the game.

Thanks. I'm working on Hardest Button. My fingers are so damn weak, it's an effort to hold a power chord kinda shape >:(

Ballack doesn't matter. Our midfield is awesome, we don't need him. The only problem at the moment is our striker but that will be solved when it matters because Klose either plays awesome and scores goals like a mad man or he plays like in the last 2 years and he'll be out by then and a good striker will play. I'm so hyped for tomorrow :D

Im so hyped for this match too...Australia is such an underrated team. I will never forget how the referee stole them the match...and then....Italy wins the World Cup!
 
Yeah, it will be a tough match but I'm confident we'll win it.

Why didn't Ecuador make it to the World Cup, though? They played very good and got pretty far 4 years ago.

Seven Nation Army is also good because it's literally seven notes. Plus some chords leading into the chorus, and a "solo" where you just shift the pattern up an octave if you're lazy.

It is a pretty tough story...curiously for this qualifiers we had the best national team we have ever had, and as always we are almost invincible in Quito (altitude helps a lot I have to say), we have always beat Brazil and Argentina here since 1998...only last year we tied with brazil in a match that almost cost Dunga his position.

But, for some stupid reason, players did not like the coach...we lost to Venezuela in our first match in Quito...then 5-0 to brazil, 5-0 to paraguay...at the 5th game everybody finally found out that players did not want to play anymore with this coach (Luis Fernando Suarez)

Then, an ecuadorian coach was improvised and magically we beat Peru 4-0 and then we tied at Argentina in a wonderful match where Argentina tied in the very last minute (ruining a huge celebration that was going to take place here)...

We started to win matches and in a few months we were 3rd...then Venezuela beat us 3-0 at Venezuela and everybody started to blame the novice coach....

We lost some VERY important points and ridiculous things happened to us....at Colombia they beat us in the very last minute (like at Argentina)....and then Paraguay tied us, with 2 goals in the additional time at Quito (damn!)...

Despite that we still had to ONLY TIE with Uruguay at Quito to qualify...we ALWAYS beat them here. But something very stupid happened....

At 30 minutes of 2nd Half we finally scored our goal and people went nuts...Antonio Valencia went crazy with his goal and almost ran to the streets to celebrate....the celebration went toooo long....Uruguay kicked off....GOAL!!!!! 1-1

Then...in the additional time, a CLEAR hand in the area by a defender of them was not seen by the referee...EVERYBODY shouted and complained....guess what:

While everybody was complaining, the ball was still rolling, Uruguay counter attacked with 3 men against our keeper....PENALTY for them!

Forlan scored...the match was over....and our World Cup dream was shattered.

It is a pretty long story but I tried to tell it as short as possible because almost nobody here cares about football.

I don't think that is a good comparison, considering that college basketball and football are both arguably more popular than their respective pro leagues (basketball more so than football).
 
Definitely depends on the area. College basketball was definitely more popular in CT when I lived there because UConn is great and we didn't have a pro team. Somewhere like LA, Chicago, etc I'm sure NBA is more popular. There is no way college football is more popular than NFL. NFL is the most popular sport in the country easily.

It's just because we have a large population, so the 1% of people in the country that like it looks like a large amount to smaller countries.

Also, LA is nice. Hitting up the kotaku party tomorrow night, not sure if anyone else here will be there.

Can't freaking wait till Tuesday. Well.. Time to go sit on the beach! :)

I... I'm a little disturbed, even though I understand what's going on. Then again, if this will encourage more people to actually wash their damn hands, I'm all for it.

I should also mention a whammy bar on a guitar of that caliber would of course not have a locking nut and the strings would go out of tune every time you used it. It's definitely for the best.

That reminds me that I want to get a Floyd Rose on my Strat at some point. *swoon*

I hope that's not the case. It'd be frustrating to have to have two separate sets of guitars for standard and pro modes.

Both are equally terrible, but for different reasons. BS is a good album that is absolutely butchered by a terrible live version, and BSSM just plain sucks.
