Rock N Roll racing appreciation thread

Loved this game to death. Never owned it on SNES, but rented it so many times I lost count. :) I spent hours playing the game multiplayer with a friend of mine on weekends...it just never got old for some reason.

The GBA port was great; I feel stupid for selling it off now. :/

Didn't Blizzard make R.P.M. Racing for the SNES before they made RNR? I remember RPM looking very similar.

Yeah like the soundtrack to Plok! being shit hot. Anyway when I asked him before through an person I know how he did most of the music for both Plok! and Rock and roll racing he said he used real instruments and then when put through the snes soundchip they would come out quite synthetic sounding.

the stuff he did on c64 and amiga is unforgettable. he wrote an awesome title track for a genesis game which was never released (timetrax) and also his snes sountracks are quite remarkable: plok especially has a few tunes of pure genius.
Everybody knows about ecco the dolphin (very good, but not his best ideas there) but i think few people know he recently did the soundtrack for starsky & hutch: a few very nice funky tunes, too bad the game sucks.
He's currently more into writing and directing (and of course writing the soundtrack for them) short movies, i believe he won an award for one of them.
