I doubt the vast majority of the improvements are "new" in any way, aside from new camera angles. Wouldn't surprise me if it just matches the maxed out PC version. These improvements won't come to Steam version too?
Lmao, asking real questions hereDoes it include fun this time?
I'm not sure I want to replay this. The gameplay was kind of boring?
I'd prefer a remaster of the GTA III trilogy.
RDR was a development mess and it's kinda a miracle the game came out the way it did
like that's the main reason the game never saw a PC release and more than likely that we will never see a port of it on any other system
Intrigued, very much so. I played the game way back on PS3 but never moved on from the first desk; really liked it, but sort of moved away from what it was offering and never came back. Having the game on the move, a'la Phoenix Wright? That could easily hold my attention.
Hope it's a decent port.
The game is so old, I seriously doubt visual cue clarity will differ that much if at all between the systems. This is a game that's all about visual presentation. More detail in the faces and movement can add more to the experience then unique gesture controls. L.A. Noire doesn't really offer much in terms of gameplay. It's strictly a narrative game.
It's a last gen remaster and not exclusive. So no.So Nintendo skipped on their November Switch release to let LA. Noire shine ?
I'm guessing much like frame rate it'll have to be capped to the resolution of the faces.
Switch seems like the perfect platform for this game
Odd choice, but then again a Red Dead or Bully Remaster would likely require a hell of a lot more work seeing their age.
Wow, I can't believe I'm going to be playing one of my favourite Rockstar games on Switch in just a couple months. I lost my save ages ago and never finished it, but I had a lot of fun with what I did play.
I find it really hard to believe that Nintendo would pay for some of the development costs for porting this. It doesn't sound like them at all.
What do you mean it's a mess? I need context.
Is this why RDR2 has been delayed?

They updating the visuals?
Not even 1080p on Switch...yikes.

If it's 720p in handheld mode, I'm good.

It's in the OP
4K on PS4 Pro and XBox One X.

Would that even be expected? I dialled back to see how the originals ran and they didn't really hold performance at 720p back then. With the Switch's Skyrim (albeit a derivative of the Special Edition) being 720p, it wouldn't have surprised me that this would have been the case here. And 720p is the native for the screen, so not a big deal I would say.
