Yup this is the Rockstar next-gen remaster everybody wanted
Yup
I don't see large sales of this at full price, and to think that Rockstar is now "friends" with Nintendo..
The Switch version not having visual upgrades is pretty lame.
Did you forget about docked mode? Yes 1080p would be expected when docked for a last gen port.Would that even be expected? I dialled back to see how the originals ran and they didn't really hold performance at 720p back then. With the Switch's Skyrim (albeit a derivative of the Special Edition) being 720p, it wouldn't have surprised me that this would have been the case here. And 720p is the native for the screen, so not a big deal I would say.
Exactly, which is why gesture controls and fleshed out hd rumble are bigger boons. The game getting a portable version that has more "gameplay" features is worth picking up over a pc downport that changes nothing. They just announced the X and Pro are getting upgrades. The game visually still holds up and I'd argue you already have a definitive version with the PC version.
If their strategy is to sell remaster of most of their old games it makes sense to start with the one people are only moderately interested instead of GTA or Red Dead.
Mine has never run at all. Not on Windows 7, nor on Windows 10.Aaaaaand I'm stuck with the shitty PC port that only launches when it wants to.
every goddamn time
Probably gonna buy the Switch ver... wait a minute, what am I gonna do with all these games, I don't have time to play them all!
Eh true it is pretty cliche. But this is essentially an adventure game.
Gonna get some weird looks if you decide to play some of the Homicide cases in public on your Switch.
I'm in. Been meaning to replay this after watching the TBFP LP.
I like how they include Nintendo Switch, even though it won't have the same graphical 'standard'. I hope it sells well enough to send a signal that games will be bought, even if the graphics are lesser in comparison to other versions.
Doesn't sound like Rockstar to port this to Switch at all either.
It's a last gen remaster and not exclusive. So no.
Never played this game. How is the PC version?
lame is GAFs insistance on wanting parity between Switch and X1/PS4 releases
If you don't mind the 30fps lock (which you can change, but it apparently messes some stuff up), it's otherwise a good game on it. Was playing just a few months ago.
I wonder what are those video-faces going to look like in "stunning" 4K
Interesting that they're bringing this IP back for some reason. p.s. it's not a good game.
I dont remember this doing so hot when it came out originally. What an odd choice.

I liked L.A. Noire, but it's not really the kind of game I'd want to replay.

I want it. Personally it's my favourite Rockstar game despite its flaws, I like police procedurals.Who wants this seriously? Why not red dead, bully remaster gta v for the switch huh.
