It's made for a new audience, please be excited! Will get censor/tone down?
More than likely. Get rid of some jokes, cover some boobs up, less toxic masculinity....you know, current year stuff. Will get censor/tone down?
It's beautiful
Mobile version is on unreal as far as I know, so maybe they are upgrading that version, just a wild guess.Strange for R* to use Unreal engine.
Also, wouldn't it have to be a remake if it's on a completely new engine? How do you just upgrade something that wasn't on Unreal to Unreal 4?
It's Justin Trudeau!
Unreal engine?
What the actual fuck?
They're likely saving ue5 for gta 6 that way it looks significantly better vs the remastersThis isn't necessarily a bad thing. Hoping for the best. Fuck, I hope they go with Unreal Engine 5.
Not saying that this is a bad thing. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. Hoping for the best. Fuck, I hope they go with Unreal Engine 5.
This is being done by Ruffian Games (who Rockstar bought last year), who have experience in Unreal. Not saying that this is a bad thing.
But Rockstar had never made a game using another engine if not their proprietary one.
So its very weird
Would that be considered blackface or whitebody?
Part of me is genuinely excited about these remasters. I didn't really care too much for GTA5, but the first mainline four I loved.
With that said, I really do wonder what's going to happen with GTA6. I get there's lots of people that love GTA5 online, but as someone that's been playing since the PS1 days, it doesn't sit well with me. Great story, compelling characters, and a world that's truly interactive is what I expect out of every release. GTA5 world wasn't nearly as interactive as I thought it could be and the story and characters didn't do it for me. The online focus could take away from the single player mode. We'll see though.
Hopefully, when the time comes, they'll knock it out of the park with GTA6. Until then, I wonder how well the older titles will hold up even with the new engine.
It's an entirely different engine to the originals, isn't it? So not quite a remake, but more than a simple remaster.Remaster? No thanks. Remake would be a different story.

Ruffian Games? This is the developer and creator of Crackdown and founded by the creator of GTA right? Or am I just making this up??This is being done by Ruffian Games (who Rockstar bought last year), who have experience in Unreal.
No chance, will be an upres and frame boost onlyIm really curious what the end result will look like, will the graphics be comparable to gta v?
