That dialogue is shit.
Christopher McQuarrie was brought on board... hAve faith
That dialogue is shit.
Fun fact. They filmed that in Canary Wharf Tube Station.

That may be the case, but I'm a bit bummed out he's not in the new trilogy. I would've loved to have seen him in that, instead of another prequel.
Which looks stunning, by the way. But it's clearly a one-off movie.
I've been saying for a while if they make Vader a slasher film type monster where he just starts cutting down people and is entirely unstoppable I'll be happy. I want some more stuff like the Rebels sequence of him vs. Kanan/Ezra. Dude is a monster basic Rebels aren't gonna stop him.
More like Disney. They're pushing that female lead with the black sidekick.
Good trailer. That alarm sound was terrible tho slightly ruined it for me a little.
Lol, even Mon Mothma can't help but laugh at the "I rebel" line, but that's precisely why it is such a great line.
Isn't it the alarm sound from any imperial vessel?
Some beautiful shaved bothans in this. Also why is someone torturing Chewbacca mid-trailer, from the sound of it?
Looks very good overall.
The directing and tone are off base for a Star Wars movie. Way too grounded..
Looks great. That's definitely Vader breathing in that last shot.
Correct. TFA is one of the slickest, most gorgeous blockbusters I've ever seen. Everything here also looks pretty nice, but better than TFA? Not yet by any stretch. Also, that sole shot of Donnie Yen hitting the stormtrooper is extremely bland to the point where I'm wondering how they even let it in the trailer. It looks like a shot Lucas would compose. Completely static, mid-frame two shot, boring composition, colors are dull, the action is plodding. Any of these things would be fine if there was something else to pick up the slack, instead it makes for a really dull shot.
Obviously a complete nit-pick, but if we're talking about already looking, visually above TFA, I'm not seeing it, and this shot is a good example of that.
I'm totally down for them squeezing Snoke or other elements in there as long as it feels natural. Where he's been around it would make sense in the new context.
I'm not sold on the time period chosen either, seems like they're doing it JUST to have a new movie with Vader in it. Still, Disney has been on a roll lately and the trailer looks on point so I'm not overly worried.
You must really dislike historical war movies, eh?
Ewww, no. I'll never know why people insist on making the universe feel smaller by having everything connect.
Loved the imperial alarm sound.
It is the new Inception horn.
I hope Darth Vader kills her by blocking a blaster shot and then says "I repel"
I trust in you Whitta!
At least there's one Star Wars movie that isn't going to waste a talented martial artist, let alone SEVERAL.
I'm wondering if we will have a Jimmy Smits cameo.
You can't be serious x-|
Snoke is older than anyone who has ever appeared in the Star Wars movies. He has seen the rise and fall of the republic and empire.

Sure, he saw the rise of the Empire. He was just a kid, but he saw it. He was born the same day as Luke and Leia. They were in the prequels too!
Why do you think he named his followers The Knights of Ren? As a reminder of his beloved Sabine, who clearly dies a gruesome death at some point, pushing him over the edge.
He saw the fall of the Republic and the clone wars as well. Before Ezra was born. We have gotten confirmation he was around in the prequel era. Sorry. This fan theory has been debunked.Sure, he saw the rise of the Empire. He was just a kid, but he saw it. He was born the same day as Luke and Leia. They were in the prequels too!

Yeah, people are missing that it is not supposed to be a super cool line - it is supposed to show the naivety and immaturity of the main character.
Given the voice work JEJ did on Rebels, I expect him to deliver one hell of a performance. His voice sounded identical to the OT, I'm unsure if they were using some type of corrective modulation or what but it was uncanny.
