treating the guy as a symbol is different than treating him as an hero or a martyr though.Man, there's some gold in this post:
1. GAF itself is racist
2. No black person, anywhere, ever, is treating the guy like a hero or martyr
3. GAF is contributing to the downfall of 'our' society

Maybe it was his clumsy ass way of venting and pushing back against the narrative? He should have known better as white people have to keep quiet about race.
The reality is, white people are asked on a daily basis to ignore the harsh fact of black on white crime. Not only to do we have to just accept it, but also be called racists if we mention it. Shit, we're called racists for just existing. So according to this current narrative about cops killings blacks, shouldn't white people be 100x more fearful of leaving their homes for fear of being killed or assaulted by a black person AND more fearful of being killed by a cop? Nope, shut up white racist.
So yeah, there's a time and place for everything but I'm not surprised that some people are frustrated at being force fed a narrative that does not exist and expected to ignore the narrative that does. I pray this frustration continues to manifest itself in fact based memes.
