Mounjaro huh? Definitely seems like a mountain I wouldn't climb. Very hostile.
To be fair did she ever look healthy at anytime in her career? To not look like that?

Dude that's a pretty massive fucking difference. That's not a healthy looking 63 year old.
Fat people and old people are both disgusting![]()

Not really. To be fair, this is what older people who have been fat their whole lives look like when they lose a ton of weight. Also, that lighting isn't doing her any favors.
How weak minded do you have to be to resort to drugs to lose weight?
Food addiction starts in childhood and is incredibly difficult to overcome. How weak minded do you have to be to resort to drugs to lose weight?
Bro u quoted a post with like one sentence and didn't even take the time to read it ?Not really.
At least not healthy older people.
She's got that Skeletor look that people get when they either a) take Ozempic or b) lose a lot of weight because of sickness.
If she didn't admit to taking Ozempic I'd think she had cancer or some other disease.
Yes. Penn Jillette is an example. In older age, can't being fat make you look a bit younger because it stretches your skin and hides the wrinkles? Looks like she's showing her true age.
The ephedra part became illegal/very hard to get, IIRC.What happened to the tried and true ECA stack? I used that in the past for cuts and it works great. It made me very indifferent about food, so following a specific diet was easy.

Depending on where you live, you can get Primatene tablets, which are essentially just Ephedra and an expectorant. The ephedra part became illegal/very hard to get, IIRC.
Yeah I remember for the US it was hard but for the longest time in Canada pure Ephedrine was super easy to get. From a quick Google in Canada it looks like they made it still over the counter but a pharmacists has to give it to you to control people cooking meth with it.The ephedra part became illegal/very hard to get, IIRC.
It's not about suffering, it's about the fact that you achieve something with drug assistance that you can achieve without. I think it's absolutely mind boggling how fast people are ready to throw some chemical shit into their body.Sounds okay if you follow guidelines. There seems to be this almost religious hang-up when someone must earn and suffer for their weight loss as an act of redemption.
To not look like that?

Just MOVE for the love of god. It's not that hard. You burn calories and don't have time and/or will think about to eat.
Losing weight is easy as it involves doing nothing. Being fat takes commitment and effort.
You're body will adapt over time. It's an addiction like any other. Stop searching excuses. Restrain yourself.Exercise alone will not bring these hunger hormones like ghrelin under control. Like eating a dinner and feeling hungry again one, two hours later.
I never said I'm on Mounjaro. Why go through all the misery associated with weight loss when help like this is available? Long term effects may be unknown, but this is the here and now. And being very overweight is dangerous enough. You're body will adapt over time. It's an addiction like any other. Stop searching excuses. Restrain yourself.
jesus christ dude
How can anyone say she looks good and healthy? She's fucking gaunt. Unrecognizable.
I follow a doctor of obesity who put it this way. "Obesity is a chronic disease and the pathophysiology of obesity is an appetite dysregulation in the brain. The medicine helps regulate the appetite to normalize it or at least improve it." It's a tough subject and not everyone can just git gud. These meds help obese people think more like the average person when it comes to food.
It's like people who need meds to combat depression. Are you going to tell them to just think happy thoughts and quit being a pussy? No. I don't think that people who think they need meds to help them stop thinking about food all day should be judged. Heart disease is the number one killer. These meds can't be any worse than being morbidly obese.
Putting aside that it's a DRUG and it's not there to heal you but to restrain you…. It's the same principle like… Why go to school when you can just buy the paperwork? It's not about the goal, you learn something in the process. There is a reason why the people most anal about weight are the ones who actually went through the weight loss.I never said I'm on Mounjaro. I also thought of Rosanne Barr but then realized I didn't know who this was.Why th fuck do I get her confused with Rosanne
This can't be stressed enough.Putting aside that it's a DRUG and it's not there to heal you but to restrain you….

When I see people stuffing themselves I can't help to think of my old dog. The memory of him sometimes almost suffocating because of how fast he was eating was etched into my mind.
Ask yourself: Are you better than a dog?
This can't be stressed enough.
It's not changing your habits, lifestyle, or how you think about food. It's just artificially reducing your appetite, which means that when you go off of it, you're very likely to go right back to the same eating habits you had before.
That's great for drug companies because they have essentially created a forever customer.
I always found addictions pretty nuts. A lot of people with various addictions dont exactly look rich. A lot of them look like disasters with a crummy job or being broke. You're body will adapt over time. It's an addiction like any other. Stop searching excuses. Restrain yourself.
over half of americans are living paycheck to paycheckI always found addictions pretty nuts. A lot of people with various addictions dont exactly look rich. A lot of them look like disasters with a crummy job or being broke.
How anyone can still muster the effort to do dumb shit while going even more broke is insane. You'd think someone would look at their bank account and say fuck it. Time to cut back on eating so much, smokes, drugs etc...
you can say this a million times to someone and it won't make a difference. sorry, that's the realityYou're body will adapt over time. It's an addiction like any other. Stop searching excuses. Restrain yourself.
The incredible thing is that weight loss is far from the only benefit of Mounjaro. Reduced inflammation is the big one.
1. Blood Sugar Control (Glucose Regulation)
2. Cardiovascular Risk Reduction
- Lowers fasting glucose and post-meal glucose spikes.
- Improves insulin sensitivity and reduces HbA1c (long-term glucose marker)
3. Improved Liver Health
- Significant drops in:
- Blood pressure
- LDL cholesterol and triglycerides
- Inflammatory markers like CRP
- Current trials (SURPASS-CVOT) suggest a likely reduction in major cardiac events.
- May become a preventive tool for heart disease, even in non-diabetics.
4. Cognitive Protection / Brain Health
- Reduces fatty liver (NAFLD/NASH) by improving:
- Liver enzyme levels (ALT, AST)
- Intrahepatic fat content on imaging
- Possibly prevents progression to fibrosis/cirrhosis in metabolic patients.
5. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
- GLP-1 and GIP receptors are found in the brain.
- Animal studies suggest:
- Improved memory and learning
- Reduced neuroinflammation
- Possible benefit in Alzheimer's disease (GLP-1s being trialled)
- Human trials for tirzepatide and cognition are early-stage.
6. Improved Sleep
- In women, helps reduce insulin resistance, androgen levels, and restore ovulation.
8. Cancer Risk Reduction (Long-Term Hypothesis)
- GLP-1s may also modulate appetite-regulating brain circuits that overlap with sleep regulation.
- Tirzepatide may lower risk indirectly via weight loss and reduced inflammation.
- Direct effects on tumour pathways are still being researched.
I know. Plato once wrote that with knowledge comes understanding. I've been reading about this stuff for a long time now. Most clearly haven't put in the effort.you can say this a million times to someone and it won't make a difference. sorry, that's the reality
We've known for a while about these benefits thanks to metformin. The problem is that it's an old drug and has been generic for a longbtime, so there is little incentive for pharmaceuticals to conduct big (and expensive) studies since they wouln't have any exclusive rights over any benefits it may findthat list sounds too good to be true, I feel like we're missing asterisks on every single line.
I was actually doing minimum dose metformin for longevity exactly for this reason, before Mounjaro. Wasn't advisable to stack them since they do the same thing for blood glucose. We've known for a while about these benefits thanks to metformin.
